The L9's aggressive lines and stunning presence, adapted to the Chinese market's sophisticated sensibilities, defied my every anticipation. This newest flagship represents years of diligent innovation, delivering approximately 180,000 Li Ones to anxious fans without revealing what was next. With over 60% of its design team from Porsche and Land Rover, the L9 is a labor of love and a blend of global ingenuity. The halo light's appeal and the body proportions reflect the design philosophy that form serves function.
My showroom L9 experience was transformative. Li Auto's luxury-meets-practicality concept was reflected in the seats' unmatched comfort. The L1-inspired soft-touch materials and beautiful assembly show painstaking attention to detail.
The L9's halo light and grille-less design tell a story, notwithstanding my worries. The large back window cleverly creates an open atmosphere, making passengers feel free.
The L9's appeal goes beyond looks to function. Li Auto's attention to detail includes power-operated rear seats for more luggage room and a lower car for easier loading. Its over 205 inches which makes it larger than an BMW X7, Mercedes EQS or Audi Q7. It looks really elegant, smooth and refined, interior is really minimalist and modern. Well done Li Xiang!
So it does not fit anywhere on the road and any city? so it won't sell because of that because there is no "country" side. Maybe this can be successful in the USA

Obviously, due to the US trade protection, China's excellent auto industry manufacturers are unable to enter the US market. Although the United States already controls the chips and software systems inside cars.
@P W The GV 80 is really nice, however this is nice and a bit bigger. I have four kids and I think they would like the L9 more.

With the slowdown of the US economic growth, the US is opening the door to China's last core areas through trade wars, financial wars, public opinion wars, etc. The areas include: banking, insurance, Communication, etc., the holding and sole proprietorship of foreign-funded enterprises in China have been realized. So don't worry about China's self-protection. If China does not open its door, the United States will help China cause civil unrest.
Sorry, Li Auto nor any Chinese maker would be going directly to North America anytime soon. No Chinese businessman want their family taken hostage by Washington for political reasons. The Huawei precedent will haunt them for a generation. So it will have to go through third party reseller, which will undoubtly rise the price quite a bit.

I respect the Chinese people for being able to choose from all these wow automakers, like I get confused on which to choose from sometimes.
The MSRP + Tax for GLS and BMW X7 in China are around 200k ~ 300k, meanwhile this one provides 90% product experience (o-60 around 5.3s!) and only cost less than 80k. Honestly, that will reset the definiation of "Luxury Car" in Chinese market and traditional car brands is facing serious challenge.

It is 1315km, in CLTC, which is more like 1100km WLTP or 1000km EPA

@@balboa-capital the 4 cylinder motor is used EXCLUSIVELY to generate power to recharge the battery if needed. The car only moves by the eletricity.

The Xpeng G9 was opened up for orders in some European countries a week ago. Check if out, it has a similar approach but as a full EV. And very attractive price.

Suspension: Front double wishbone suspension, rear five-link suspension.
Suspension Type: There are several air suspension modes to choose from. The maximum rise is 4 cm, and the maximum fall is 4 cm. If cargo needs to be loaded to the rear, the front suspension remains the same and the rear suspension can be lowered by up to 5cm.
There is no information on the turning radius.
If selling outside of China, I think an English system will be added.
All hardware is standard, only the color and electric-assisted boarding pedals cost extra money.

They produce larger cars which is very inefficient for all-electric drivetrain. Less painful when battery raw materials increase cost as well.
