What PC board do I buy for my hotpoint washer dryer Aquarius WD440. Think this might be what's wrong with mine? I've just cleaned out the filter so I know its not that?

I have this issue with lights flashing and up until recently I would keep unpluging it and then plugging it back in several times, until the red standby light stablised itself, so I could then press start and run a cicle. Today I tried the same 'technique' for a couple of hours with no luck though. And I couldn't wash my clothes..

Hey John. It sounds like it is the c17 capacitor gone on the PCB Board. If you look at his link here you will see what I mean. They are about £30 /€30 euro for a second hand one on eBay, or if you know someone capable to solder a new one on your PCB board you could go that route too, the capacitors are really cheap, about 30 p / 35 cent

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 Thank you. I'm going to look into that, some people say it's just the filter at the bottoms right corner (you know the one that rotates and its supposed to come out) which needs clearing. This is an Indesit model. I tried that but I can't get my filter out.

@@johnlenon5052 oh I thought it was the hotpoint model you had. If it is Indesit they are right, it is most likely something in the filter 👍

Thanks John Lennon - that also worked for me as I switched my hotpoint around 4 to 6 times and it reset itself.

Hey John thanks for video. Have this issue myself. Just chatted to Hotpoint and they said the supplied PCB would be unprogrammed meaning I’d have to buy a card and card reader as well. They quoted £350.00 for the PCB. Does any of this this sound likely?

Hey there. They will try squeeze as much money out of you as possible. If you can buy a pre programmed PCB off eBay you would get one for no more than €40. People sell them from machines that would have had drum bearing issues. What is the model number of your machine, I can take A look for you if you like ?
