Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a 2018 action-adventure video game developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix's European subsidiary. It continues the narrative from the 2015 game Rise of the Tomb Raider and is the twelfth mainline entry in the Tomb Raider series, as well as the third and final entry of the Survivor trilogy. The game was originally released worldwide for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. Versions for Linux and macOS, and Stadia, were released in November 2019. After release, the game was expanded upon with downloadable content in both a season pass and as standalone releases.

As I'm 40 yrs old, and having played all games of the series, I've got to admit that the REBOOT that happened on 2013 and all the sequels after, were the best for the whole series, the outcome of the work were 10/10. Hope they keep it up !!!

They got better with each game but the puzzles were bad compared to the originals. Guess they just got to have more simple puzzles for the gen z.
I wish Tomb Raider was like back then when you had to calculate every jump, that was THE magic.

Or when you spent 30 minutes looking for the one ledge you can climb up on since all the pixelated textures just melted all together.

Yeah now they plaster yellow and white paint on every ledge so you know exactly where to go, the old tombraiders where about trial and error and most importantly, exploration. These new games whilst still good games has lost the spirit of that entirely

I was play tomb rider on ps 3, and it was one of my favorite games, the graphic is great as MGS phantom pain.
Not gonna lie Shadow of the tomb raider becomes more magical Rather than finding and getting artifact And its nice to see a change of phase where atleast we witness the power of the artifact :>

PS5 and the first input I had to make by pushing the “O” button to remove the rock with the knife didn’t work….guess it doesn’t work with the PS5 controller? Not

This video is amazing on Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Even I played it on PS5, it is great with the graphics and the sound on that tablet. Awesome!
Tomb raider is always the perfect, favorite series in my heart. I love it much more than Uncharted series (played both). The gameplay, atmosphere, visual... is top notch.
Never a game has such an important place to me.
wow, the haters are out bragging that they are the PC master race. No change then. people that have nothing else to spend their money on. i have a decent ammount of disposable cash. However, some do not want or need to, or can't spend thousands on high end pc's and graphics cards ! Diff priorities.

we need to accept that she got superhuman strength, endurance, healing and agility. In the games, she has been impaled multiple times and still can run like nothing.

Lara looked so real in Tomb Raider version 2013. She's also skinnier and less attractive now, which is something we can't have in a Tomb Raider game quite frankly. This version feels so downgraded, what happened?

The last gen of TR games didn't have you move like a tank so that isn't a excuse. These games are all clones of uncharted and the boring open world walking simulator style that mostly Sn titles are so proud of.

It DOES look great graphically...but I'd rather have new games. Imagine paying $70 or more for the game you already played simply because it got a graphical upgrade. It better have some new shiny bells and whistles. I'd rather the Uncharted and Far Cry series get this sort of make over. Loved the original Tombraiders, though.

Well done... How did you manage the tsunami qte in one go 😮... It took me about 10 tries 😂😂.. Even though i completed the whole game on pc at release, ive been replaying the definitive ed on ps5 lately.. the tsunami took me a few tries 🤬😂... Its a great game.. Much more exploration and puzzles than Rise or 2013.. but still not as great as the originals or Legend Trilogy.. We need old Lara and Embracer to take it away from CD before they make a Lara transgender gay lesbian seeker of truth with a loofer brush instead of dual pistols

Uncharted 4 still looks better.
The Uncharted games are just better all around. Better story, likable characters, and actual emotional investment. Tombraider is just Lara. It's hollow by comparison. Art direction is great for both, though.

Personally, I think they completely ruined TR. TR belongs in caves looking for the exit, not in a city or as a survivalist in a forest with skill points and the like. Furthermore, they try to make TR realistic, but they continuously throw icons and unnecessary information everywhere on your screen. By the way, where is the original TR clothing? In other words, it could just as well have been any other game with a female. 😢
Did you play to rise ans shadow? Because it doesn't seem so. Im shadow she's in caves often.
The problem is her face, personality and facial expression feel like she is "the girl next door" with a bit of a woke vibe, but Lara is supposed to be so much more than that. As gamers, we are supposed to fantasize about Lara that she is so badass and funny and sexy and ladylike etc..but this Lara just doesn't do it, and she doesn't remind me of the Lara of the original tomb raiders (TR1-4)
Next game is published by amazon without the CD-engine. They switched the lara trait and engine with unreal. So the series is ended with shadow, next one will be trash for sure

I don’t care much for this version of Lara Croft, because she looks and acts too feminine to me… where like the version of an Angelina Jolie type Lara Croft for instance, seemed more masculine and better suited as a tomb raider, whom knew how to present herself accordingly and own inner femininity at the appropriate times when necessary. This version is just straight up too feminine!

She isn't ugly, but looks are subjective; however, this game and the previous two games: "Tomb Raider," and "Rise of the Tomb Raider," are prequel games before the much more experienced Lara. I think you are just accustomed to Lara who is above her late mid 20's, who has more mature look.
