  • I tried over and over to bleed the system just wasn’t working. Drilled some holes and bam no overheating but, it kept it too cool during the lower temps.
I pulled that thermo and put a new on with just one hole and it’s better then ever
    **9 Months later**
So since I’ve been driving with the extra hole drilled out when it’s cold like now November 20°-40°The car will only get 170° give or take. I don’t even turn the fans on any more.
I would just pull the small brass nipple out and bleed it like that. Should be good to go!
Today Thanksgiving the car got pulled into garage for a new tube front and a new cage! I’m going to make some videos as well as fabricating a tube bender!!

You need the next higher temp. (over oe) w/a single small hole drilled, that'll work for you in that PA weather, trust me bro-sum👌

After drilling hole. The hole is at top of thermostat when putting everything together? A clock, hole is a 12.

Im about to do this, I was thinking to just drill the jiggle bit out make the hole larger. What temp does it stay at now?

    • @itsreamo

tompwh I can drive with no fans on and it stays at normal temp 180-200 something like that. I have gauges I’ll be installing soon for a more accurate reading.

tompwh just still out the jiggle bit. If it’s not enough just do one more. Then you’ll be set!

  • @chicogozosodecabellosedoso

Can you explain: I would just pull the small brass nipple out and bleed it like that
    Thanks

Yea do that, also depends on your setup and if there is a bigger issue. Diagnose first

Why not just buy another thermostat?

Will this work on a g35

Michael Lyle droll one hole, bleed the coolant. If your still over heating and know for a fact that it’s cause you can’t fully bleed it then drill another hole if you need.
