I would love to address and answer a bunch of these, but to write to every single one with my schedule is extremely hard at the moment. So, I would like to get everyone's opinion on something. Would you guys be opened to the idea of me doing a live stream, so I could share more of my thoughts on the video, address some of the comments and answer questions you may have? These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky - The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. Dimash takes his revenge on his former friend. The new baby represented a new innocent life beginning as the father dies. (And he does die) also the mother died in childbirth. The baby grew up to be a leader of men who seek peace. He wore his parents necklace, to always remember. One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else I noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

Not just because of his incredible voice but because he truly cares about the message of peace he carries with him in all his appearances and concerts. Have you ever heard of a singer who's called upon to meet with politicians and take part in global forums, because I haven't. He's 29 years old yet he's treated with the utmost respect by political figures around the world. Only yesterday he had to miss the opening of his sister's restaurant because he received an urgent call from his President to meet with him and President Macron of France. You should see his speech on the ethics of peace from the Central Asian Media Forum, it's on his channel and it was incredible.

Great reaction, thank you. We know this is very confronting but that’s what it was meant to be. I do hope you are OK. 🥰 Our Dimash is very vocal about the futility and human cost of war. He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations. He has said that he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. Dimash composed the music and wrote the screen play. This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there was four in 2022 alone. Dimash premiered The Story of One Sky live at his concert in Almaty, Qazaqstan on the 23rd September and the video released on the 24th. The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. If leaders want to wage war it should be between the two leaders not innocent casualties. This is about the senseless act of war, It’s about life, death and rebirth. Director Alina Veripya is second to none in her field and portrayed everything magnificently. I believe she also directed ‘Okay’ for Dimash which was a great video. The Story of One Sky is an absolute mind blowing masterpiece and deserves unrivalled recognition from all corners of the earth. This makes you sad, cry and smile but leaves you questioning the direction we as a humans are travelling. Dimash promised something epic and that was a colossal understatement. It is amazing that 3 friends can go in such different directions! The friend who saved Dimash, becomes the dictator. Dimash marries the girl on the beach, and they have 2 children. His little girl is killed,and Dimash takes revenge on his friend. His wife, I believe, dies on giving birth to Dimash and her son. The son then takes up his Dad’s mantel to lead the people of the world tonight and life. I wish the governments of the world could understand, that we are ALL part of humanity, and just want peace. We just want to raise our families, and enjoy our friends in peaceful freedom. We don’t need to follow the Pipers, who lead to destruction. I work with Veterans in Canada and this video from Dimash hits me hard too - even having only had exposure through first person accounts. You may wish to jump to lighter music from Dimash for a while (have you listened to Be with Me?). Dimash is incredibly talented musically, but his greatest talent may just be his ability to evoke emotions in his listeners. Thank you for your great and empathetic reaction. In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife was also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. Judging by the way you look away from what you see, you are probably very ashamed of all the years of your service in a country in which there has never been a war and no one has attacked it, despite all this, there are thousands and thousands of combat veterans in your country. Your army brings pain and grief throughout the world and you are involved in this.
Your analysis of my response to the video couldn't be further from the truth. I see evil things for what they are, because I see the evilness of human potential on almost a daily basis, and I do everything I can to prevent that. I was not born in the United States, yet I serve with the upmost respect for all people. I get it, it's easy to point fingers and blame everything blindly on people. It's strange to see that people who have the same outlook as yourself, are the people who don't understand the message of what Dimash is trying to push out.

This is art. 9:43 He mixes vocal references to the call to pray from Islam, the greeting to souls from Tengrism; the Om from Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism and gives at the same time a certain cadence of Gregorian chant from Catholicism. That´s why it is making you cry: he is singing to your soul, not to your ears In the deep voice part he says something like “People are just travelers in the path that is life" Then he goes to a "Heaven entrance sound" 15:14 Then he goes again in voice of despair giving a claim and a statement. Thank you for your reaction. I can tell it got very REAL for you. It really hit home. You have seen stuff that us civilians can hardly imagine. War is ugly and brutal. No one should ever have to live through that and yet we are now at the verge of possible WW3. Dimash is a very vocal champion for peace. His art form is pure music that takes you through a journey every time and never fail to touch every one of us right in the heart. This was a roller coster ride, indeed. I saw the video of this song performed live in concert, and he gave it his ALL, and at the end of the song, he was completely spent. Got to love Dimash.
Great reaction my man. This one is hard to watch, for anyone. I'm not an military man, but the message is clear and everyone can understand it. It hurts. The message does. The song is incredible. Dimash wanted to tell this story. He directed it, is an actor in it, sang everything, and he composed the music. This is one of the most expensive music video productions in history and it only happened because he insisted on it. He reinvested much of his personal earnings into this production; to get his message out.
It is a hard video to watch. He composed the music and wrote the script. He has a heart for peace. Sadly, we see the opposite happening all around us. It is very very troubling. We are seeing hate on a level I never thought to see. Praying for God's intervention.

This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life. Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb) So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky -
The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. Dimash takes his revenge on his former friend. The new baby represented a new innocent life beginning as the father dies. (And he does die) also the mother died in childbirth. The baby grew up to be a leader of men who seek peace. He wore his parents necklace, to always remember. One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else I noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

Have you ever heard of a singer who's called upon to meet with politicians and take part in global forums, because I haven't. He's 29 years old yet he's treated with the utmost respect by political figures around the world. Only yesterday he had to miss the opening of his sister's restaurant because he received an urgent call from his President to meet with him and President Macron of France.
You should see his speech on the ethics of peace from the Central Asian Media Forum, it's on his channel and it was incredible.

Our Dimash is very vocal about the futility and human cost of war. He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations.
He has said that he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. Dimash composed the music and wrote the screen play.
This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there was four in 2022 alone. Dimash premiered The Story of One Sky live at his concert in Almaty, Qazaqstan on the 23rd September and the video released on the 24th.
The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. If leaders want to wage war it should be between the two leaders not innocent casualties.
This is about the senseless act of war, It’s about life, death and rebirth.
Director Alina Veripya is second to none in her field and portrayed everything magnificently.
I believe she also directed ‘Okay’ for Dimash which was a great video.

His little girl is killed,and Dimash takes revenge on his friend. His wife, I believe, dies on giving birth to Dimash and her son. The son then takes up his Dad’s mantel to lead the people of the world tonight and life. I wish the governments of the world could understand, that we are ALL part of humanity, and just want peace. We just want to raise our families, and enjoy our friends in peaceful freedom. We don’t need to follow the Pipers, who lead to destruction. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it.
He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.
The premiere was on September 24, 2022.
As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is.
OMG he is such a phenomenal actor.
Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife was also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches.

Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰.

Your army brings pain and grief throughout the world and you are involved in this.

I see evil things for what they are, because I see the evilness of human potential on almost a daily basis, and I do everything I can to prevent that. I was not born in the United States, yet I serve with the upmost respect for all people. I get it, it's easy to point fingers and blame everything blindly on people. It's strange to see that people who have the same outlook as yourself, are the people who don't understand the message of what Dimash is trying to push out.

Он исполнял эту композицию впервые в Алматы. Я была просто в потрясении от его исполнения. Стадион был завороженный . 35000 человек на стадионе и почти 10000 за стадионом слушали его , пели , танцевали и плакали ....

Thank you for your reaction. I can tell it got very REAL for you. It really hit home. You have seen stuff that us civilians can hardly imagine. War is ugly and brutal. No one should ever have to live through that and yet we are now at the verge of possible WW3. Dimash is a very vocal champion for peace. His art form is pure music that takes you through a journey every time and never fail to touch every one of us right in the heart. This was a roller coster ride, indeed. I saw the video of this song performed live in concert, and he gave it his ALL, and at the end of the song, he was completely spent. Got to love Dimash.
Great reaction my man. This one is hard to watch, for anyone. I'm not an military man, but the message is clear and everyone can understand it. It hurts. The message does. The song is incredible. Dimash wanted to tell this story. He directed it, is an actor in it, sang everything, and he composed the music. This is one of the most expensive music video productions in history and it only happened because he insisted on it. He reinvested much of his personal earnings into this production; to get his message out.

This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life.
Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb)
So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) And then we see that his son made a better decision... His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer.
