On today's episode I take the Maserati to the dyno for some baseline numbers before I heavily modify it. We will achieve the most amount of HP naturally aspirated and then I will supercharger it.

Ah, you have that hideous rattle from the exhaust valves inside the box. I cut my boxes open to look inside, but chickened out of removing the valves at the time and instead put levers on so I could open them manually. I will cut the valves out soon. The valves open at 4000 rpm or thereabouts - really restrictive.

I had my 2017 MC dyno and it pulled 402hp al the wheel and 347lbs of torque. Stock.

Correct….i was just comparing the numbers from a 4.2 to a 4.7 after watching your video.

I'm surprised. I would have expected better numbers from a pricy car like that. Its barely making more than a WRX STI.
Yes they are underpowered. Heavy as hell too. 4300lbs. Its a small v8 tho. I’d say not bad for a 4.2. The ones that came with the 4.7 have a 50hp bump.
