I mean he is a “bad guy” but not as bad as everyone else, i mean he was brought up to believe in pure-blood supremacy but that doesnt excuse the multiple horrible insults he used on the weasleys and muggle-borns like Hermione, for example in the books he calls Molly fat and does so much other stuff to the point where Fred and Harry literally beat him up.

Hi, this is actually a really great question and has left me wondering. My best guess to the answer is that maybe there wasnt enough poison or it didnt have enough time to act. Also, when the Phoenix tears healed harry's arm maybe it healed both parts of harry, harry himself and the horcrux, so then the horcrux was fully healed and then had to be killed in the deathly Hallows. That's my best guess for now ❤ ( also I read the books a while ago, sorry if I'm fuzzy on the details)

Because phoenix tears are one of the only antidotes to basilisk venom. I feel that if the horcruxes had phonix tears poured on them before they died, they may have been healed.
Another thing was that if spells don't effect horcruxes then why did harry die (the the Voldemort in him) is spells have no effect, harry should technically be near invincible, the only reason I could come up with was the harry was an accidental horcrux where as the rest weren't.
