Great Ideas. I Absolutely Love the Look of Chains. Chains are my Favorite Piece of Jewelry!
I love adding chains to my pieces it's a great way to add fluidity
Love the different types of uses with chain in this chapter. I have quite a few spare bits of chain but don't know what to do with them. Now I do 😊I would also love to know more about the 3 types of bracelets you are wearing. They are Fab!!!
I've been making jewelry for a little over 10 years now. I'm self taught and I love watching other jewelry makers and their techniques! I'm always open to adapting other techniques into my craft. I fell in love with incorporating chain into my pieces quite long ago. My favorite was to use pins or wire to one or more bead and to fuse them into the chain. So the chain and bead/s were all one in the same. Or tassels like mentioned above.
I am new to this channel and am enjoying the videos. All of these ladies seem so knowledgeable and have great talent. I will be trying my hand at some of the ideas I've gotten from yur channel by watching these tutorials. Doing more soldering until I'm confident is my next challenge! I'm still a Novice.
Thank u all for taking time and energy to create these videos. It's greatly appreciated! 📿🔗💎
Glad you are enjoying the channel!
Susan, your tutorials are some of the best I have ever seen. Creative, interesting, practical and lovely jewellery pieces.
I loved the first tip to match your chain size to your bead size. Brilliant.

What kind of chain Katy is using? It's so yellow and shining, nice looking.
It's a plated designer curb link chain. Here is a link to a similar chain: www.jtv.com/product/unfinished-chain-in-3-styles-in-gold-tone-appx-20-each-with-findings/JMKIT1254?mcid=XSOjsyt
@@JewelSchool Thanks a lot for your explanation. You are very nice.
where can i get pliers and cutters as great as the ones in the video? the cutters i have can barely cut 20gauge wire and my round nose pliers are a struggle to make loops with :(
Here is an excellent round nose plier: www.jtv.com/product/jewel-school-ergo-round-nose-plier-with-green-light-grey-handles/JSPLT04?mcid=XSOjsyt
Here is the flush cutter used in the video: www.jtv.com/product/designer-flush-cutter/PLIER61?mcid=XSOjsyt
Plus, as a bonus, here is the stainless steel version of the flush cutter, which cuts memory wire! www.jtv.com/product/designer-semi-flush-cutter-induction-treated-for-cutting-316l-stainless-steel-ergonomic-handles/JSKIT0443?mcid=XSOjsyt
@@JewelSchool thank you so much!!!!
Great video but I wish you had all broken down these links to what chain was used in each video. I click the chain link and it shows me every chain type you sell. I'm looking for something thin but with large enough links to attach small jump rings to. Alicia's chain looked to be about what I'm looking for.
Alicia is using a rolo link chain. This kit should have what you need! www.jtv.com/product/bracelet-chain-set-of-24-in-silver-tone-gold-tone-and-rose-gold/JMKIT1679?mcid=XSOjsyt
Does the material ever change color? Do yoy have a video on how to care for your jewlery and how to store them?
We use a non-tarnish wire that should stay true color over its lifetime, however there are no guarantees! Just clean your jewelry with mild soap and tepid water and it will stay clean. Do not use harsh chemicals as most stones are susceptible to breakage and dissolve if subjected to them. A jewelry box or case is the best place to store your jewelry to keep it away from gathering dust when you're not wearing it. Good luck!
@@JewelSchool wow thank you so much for all the advice and help. 🙏🏼🥰😍❣️
hello I need information from the school, please
