Atl is a place that you show wealth with clothes and cars. Different vibe. Dallas you can be talking to a millionaire and not know it. His shirt maybe 2000$ but not be flashy. Dallas is upscale. I'm just now seeing this and at the 3min mark, I immediately thought "ohh mercy, I hope she does okay with that truck on our roller coaster highways we got"... I recall moving here years ago, and rented a huge ford pickup truck and was scaaaaaaaaaaaarrred when the highway had an incline to the sky and then a dip to go down. For those that don't know, google Dallas high five interchange.... smh. Also, down here if you're going 85 on the highway, you're going too slow and folks edit the google map sometimes to have you go from lane to lane and back for no reason.
Girrrlllll Dallas highways are so chaotic and confusing!! Im always missing an exit and the people drive so fast! Its definitely something I have to get used to

Babygirl, let me ask - what was your motivation for relocating here? Listen, be about your business and prospering more than you were in ATL. One think I know is that a homeboy before I left the Midwest told me, "Don't think because you got all them degrees and letters behind your name that that means anything in Dallas. There are tons of black women with the same credentials" (i'm in mental health). So sis, do whatever you can to get into a trade, school or certification program. I have seen folks with decades of experience get passed over for someone with a new certification in a specific area. Take a year or two to just level up professionally. You'll thank yourself later. Just on 6/28/24 made 3 years I've been here, and I went back to school and got more certifications to go behind my letters, lol.

Yes it was definitely a hard transition but honestly since I’ve been here. I love it. It’s so refreshing from the ATL / Houston.
But Dallas (Oakcliff/South Dallas) got a ratchet side. It is just not as big as ATL and Houston
