I play lead trumpet with GlennMillerScandinavia on a 1920 Liberty Model, and I use it almost daily. I own quite a few vintage trumpets, (Buescher 225, Conn Victors, Olds Mendez/Special/Studio/The Olds and meny others) That old King trumpet always wins! Dark sound and in tune.

Nice playing Luis! I am also a fan of the work the HN White company is doing to keep these great vintage instruments in the music scene where they belong. I purchased a 1965 King Super 20 Silversonic from them. They do truly excellent work. I also have a 1938 King Silver Tone (basically a Liberty with a solid sterling bell) and a 1958 Silvesonic cornet. I've owned lots of great "modern" trumpets but I always love playing the Kings. CONGRATS. Chris does a great job on on these. I have a 1965 super 20 silver sonic symphony with a trigger and a 1966 silver flair. I just sold my Bach because I never play it.

Luis, what year is your Liberty from . I know it’s been fully restored to like new but was originally built in what year by HN White ? Your a very talented trumpet player , would love to hear you play some more Harry James numbers and show tunes on your new Liberty.
