It's quite different, but most of them you ended up convincing me that this correspondence makes more sense, I put mercury in the indicator but all the others were switched, I see now that the communication gestures were something that did not come to my mind
I think the most interesting difference is Jupiter as middle finger, acting like the biggest and prosperous in the middle of the hand, Supporting all others, I also leveraged the system for one more use, but it's not exactly traditional planetary magic, I use an extra visualized finger on on the opposite side of the thumb Corresponding to Uranus, It is useful to have an "astral finger" for some extra mudra uses

This is great for anyone with aphantasia that struggles with visualisation and exercises of the imagination. Its quite different to the palmistry method of assigning planets to the hand, but that's not a bad thing at all. You've reasoned a modern approach very well I think. Being a Bardonite, I've always associated my fingers with the 5 elements as opposed to the 7 planets. For quick planetary energy access I use the 7 chakras/ Each to their own with Art of course. Always a pleasure to watch your vids mate
As someone who is very much still learning and a beginner (I'm in the apprentice section on Quareia), I found this absolutely fascinating. I did have almost the exact same impulses for each planet, especially Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and the Sun/Moon. I don't feel knowledgeable enough to try this in practice yet, but when I am, it is certainly something I see myself doing.
I can not express how thankful I am to see a serious practitioner actually address the child/parent issues like this. It’s rarely discussed. And I struggle so much in having the space away from my son to practice. I find it’s a bit more difficult with only children, as well.

Hey Denis, don't know if you'll read this but you might find it interesting when it comes to what u explored here. So there is a really good working system for this in Indian traditions, coming from Ayurveda. The 5 fingers are the 5 elements, and one hand is the active (right, which is connected to the pingala, solar channel) and one is receptive (left, which is connected to the ida, lunar channel). In Jyotish (Indian Astrology, which is found in both Vedas and Tantras, its not purely Vedantic), the 5 pancha bhutas (elements) correspond to the 5 elemental planets (the ones which aren't luminaries). Thumb is Fire making it Mars, index is Air making it Saturn, middle is Akasha making it Jupiter, ring is Earth making it Mercury, and little finger is Water making it Venus. It's pretty solid and mudras like agni mudra, phritvi mudra, etc, are based on these finger positions. In my stance the only thing I'd switch is Saturn and Mercury, idk why Parashara (the sage who wrote the most well known text on Indian astrology) attributed Mercury to Earth and Saturn to Air, maybe its because they exalt in those elemental signs, but I personally switch them cuz at the general level Saturn makes way more sense with earth and Mercury with Air. Where Sun and Moon fall in this system would be on either side of the body, and in receptiveness to the hands, I'd say left palm is the Moon, right palm is the Sun, since one is Solar and the other one is Lunar, the pingala and ida. Also this is why its usually said one should use their wand (or sword mudra) in their right hand, as its projective (Solar) and pushes the energy outward, though afaik sometimes the channels are reversed but those a rare cases (what I'd imagine maybe happens with left-handed dominant people, though unsure).

Hand magick is a topic that has fascinated me since 2018, it’s only been in recent years, but I have seen people talking, and writing about it. I am aware of the usage of mudra in the east, however I am very interested interested in the practical applications of the hands in “high magick” as well as witchcraft. Hmmmm. I can add a few bits from Traditional Chinese Medicine (totally freestyle association) The back of the hand is Yang (as it’s external), so, it’s the Sun. It’s the part of the hand that is actually exposed to the sun. The palm of the hand is Yin (since it’s internal), so it represents the Moon. Now, about the channels on the fingers… Left hand: In the Thumb, we have the Lung channel. It represents the Metal element. I think it would fit Mercury. Index finger: Intestine, Saturn. Middle finger: Pericardium, which is Ministerial Fire. I’d link it to Jupiter. Ring finger: Triple burner is Fire. So, Mars. Pinky finger: Heart and intestine. So it’s Mars again. But we already have Mars, so maybe Venus? Or Venus on the ring finger, and Mars on the pinky. Right hand: Middle finger: Here we have Stomach, Kidney and Conception Vessel. I think it’s related to Saturn. Ring finger: Pericardium, Jupiter again. Pinky finger: Stomach and Spleen. Saturn agiam. Haven’t found any diagram showing Thumb and Index finger. That’s completely half-baked. If anyone is curious about it, just tag me and I’ll polish this idea further. A cool benefit would be mixing acupressure to the ritual.

This is a great take. I've been pondering hands recently in terms of elements, principles and other correspondences. Like others in the comments I've not really got the palmistry set up and yours is logical and clear. It was especially pleasing to be shouting 'Saturn!' when you were considering which planet to link an overrunning Mercury to!
Wonderful. Your planetary attributions to fingers makes sense to me as well. I paused the video before each of your attributions to think about where I would place them myself and they were mostly the same, with the initial exception of venus being the ring finger, but when I heard your interpretation it made more sense. I also considered saturn being the thumb, as it's the opposing finger without which there is no grip nor tight fist, but overall Jupiter is a good choice because of the qualities you described.

I use a system yielding from Jyotish(Vedic Astrology) that incorporates many attributes like: Mudra (Pressing the Thumb to another finger’s tip/center/lower part,having the thumb be positioned on top of the same parts of the finger, and having more than one finger be incorporated). Natural Finger Rulerships (Mars-Thumb, Jupiter-Index, Saturn-Middle, Sun-Ring, and Moon, Mercury, Venus - Pinky). Zodiac Sign Rulership of a Segment of a Finger (Each separated into 3 Parts: Index= Tip-Aries, Middle-Taurus,Bottom-Gemini. Middle=Tip-Cancer, Middle-Leo, Bottom-Virgo. Ring=Tip-Libra,Middle-Scorpio,Bottom-Sagittarius.Pinky=Tip-Capricorn,Middle-Aquarius,Bottom-Pisces.) Constellations within the Signs on the Fingers(Which is extremely fine tuned and have not consistently tested it to conclude with it). Using Astrological Placements and matching it to the fingers’ sign placement( Example:Saturn in Libra placement would = Tip of Ring finger to activate Saturn for that specific placement) and also important to note when using that method will activate both signs (if applicable) ruled by that planet and using Traditional Rulerships: Sun- Leo, Moon-Cancer, Mercury-Gemini and Virgo, Venus-Taurus and Libra, Mars-Aries and Scorpio, Jupiter-Sagittarius and Pisces, Saturn-Capricorn and Aquarius. Lastly incorporating wearing rings with a specific stone/crystal,banding,stone/crystal cut,carat, and weight of the entire piece; This requires precision of an astrologer with expertise in advising this method alongside an expert craftsman to ensure the piece satisfies all the requirements. I personally can say, with also my own feedback of advising other people to incorporate these methods, these MOST DEFINITELY cause a response from these techniques, but having the adaption of intention coincide with these techniques is VITAL.
You're system to me feels right; I was able to correctly guess most of these correlations without having quite ever read on the topic. Compared to what old palmistry books say, your system feel 1000% more intuative and meaningful.
As someone with asd traditional cerimonial and ritual magic does not work for me. Remembering magic exists, and i can do it is hard. While you might view this as a cheat or something to use while out and about. To me, this is a lot more. It is interesting, the ring finger is the only digit that has two main nerves contained inside it. And if you study field electricity and the coil, it makes sense that the ring would have an influence on bridging the two nerve fields.
There is an aspect of processing the energy through your body which can greatly boost ritual actions. But to do all the forms and movements you have to be pretty athletic and have good sense of rhythm. I am not a ceremonial magician. And use of movement allowed me to enter in to more advanced forms of ritual practice. Where as previously, everything was based on technique, concentration and effectiveness of small techniques. It still is, but expending the practice in that way allowed to me to explore aspects that go outside the base necessities for the effect.
Place your right hand on the three, the thumb goes on the Moon, index on Mercury, middle on Mars, ring on Jupiter and little on Venus. The Sun in in the palm. Same goes for the elements and their association with the planets: Jupiter - Earth Mars - Fire Mercury - Air Venus - Water Moon - Spirit Tip for beginners, if you put your left hand in that position, facing towards you, you can see how the fingers exactly correspond to the elements on the pentagram.

The Fingers -Index; Mars, fire, [knuckles] the three zodiac signs of fire. Middle; Mercury, air, [kn] the three zodiac signs of air. Third; Jupiter, water, [kn] the three zodiac signs of water. Pinky; Venus, earth, [kn] the three zodiac signs of earth. The Palm - Moon, soul; Open is full - Closed is new. The back of the Hand; Saturn, aether, As Saturn covers all rest of the planets and aether connects all elements together. Thus the order is Spirit, Soul, Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Aether.
All fingers have links to all the planets, its just that some systems believe that a certain finger may have more dominant control over that planet. Varies from person to person. Thats why none of the systems will agree. Also check out jason reads's chinese magic. It has a finger technique in it called activating the sword finger(mudra), the big dipper sword. its very potent, though subtle.

Donald Tysons book is really great. It ads to the planets the elements and even more good ideas to use your body. I do magic of the empty hand since I do magic. My body in the 3d room is the temple. I created my own system with my body, though. I like your fingersystem, it sounds allright to me. Ps: Besides Donald Tyson the handreading folks did put the ülanets on the hands, too.
There's a sign called the sword hand. You extend your index and middle finger (like with finger guns), and make a circle with the pad of your thumb n top of the nail of your ring finger, and your little finger following the curve of your ring finger. If you do it with both hands you should be able to sheathe one in the other. Do with that information what you will.
Curiosity/ignorant question incoming! Why would one tailor and create a unique system of magic rather than follow a tradition? I can think of reasons why you'd join a tradition but not so much why you would go off in the dark and make your own? Anyway, cool vid, thank you.
For the same reason you might learn to tailor your own clothes when you have spent your life appreciating clothes made by big clothes stores, but never quite find clothes that fit.
I think that's what a "real" (I usually try to avoid this word) magician is about; to be able creating something on your own rather than only following systems who were created by magicians before you. Sure you can do that 100% and maybe it would be even safer most of the time than searching in the dark (aka inside you) but also with the cost of probably limiting your own potential. I like to think magic here is similar to language; it's alive, it's constantly changing. If not then it wouldn't be used for long and some day simply die out (if you like to believe practical magic itself was invented by us humans in the first place) edit: or maybe like any other form of science. Imagine we would still only use the exact same understanding of physics hundreds of years ago. No way right?

You mentioned a palace. In a dream of mine I saw a palace it was an old gray vanish circular tall worn building with many levels and I saw 3 entities with tall ears and red capes or they were antlers. What is that about? Coming from 0 experience
From time to time i check out your channel. Sometimes hard to see how poor german publishing is. But ... since a few months i work on a astrological based system for inner magic. It evolves slowly and although its internal i had a lot of signs in the day ... Before that i was very dream based. and one evening orion was suddenly in front of my window as never like before ore after, never had a clue I can see him. I also have a two handed system to represent the planets (mercury is index too) --- i like your idea because it is in the same area. But i integrated gaia because i live on and from her. But the system works, the other seven seem to be okay.
I am a hand gesture kind of guy and loved kinesic magic from Donald since then all the sections of my fingers are Kabbalah letters and planets etc. even a working pyramid I found here in south Florida. To me that’s real magic. Everything else ritualistically isn’t really for me. Maybe because I’m lazy.
somewhere i've read that the ring finger is associated with the Sun, becase it was associated with the heart; symbolically the ring can mean that your heart is taken, but i've also read somewhere that there's a vein connecting the ring finger to the heart - a lot of the correspondences i found about the hands are very cultural (even with mudras and Indian dancing/acting), but the ring finger seems to be mostly associated with the Sun, i think in Tibetan Medicine too, although i'm not sure which book has this kind of info... or maybe it was Thai Medicine or Reusi Dat Ton idk
also, a disclaimer: in medieval or ancient texts the heart isn't really about the physical heart or 'seat of emotions', but the 'seat of the soul', which in a modern context would be the mind or consciousness
The pinky as grip strength? The only application I can think of where that's the case is shooting a hand gun, and to a lesser extent, sword grip only needs the ring and pinky.

Traditionally, the middle finger is associated with Saturn. So when you flip someone off, you are placing a saturnine curse upon them.

Hmmmm. I can add a few bits from Traditional Chinese Medicine (totally freestyle association)
The back of the hand is Yang (as it’s external), so, it’s the Sun. It’s the part of the hand that is actually exposed to the sun.
The palm of the hand is Yin (since it’s internal), so it represents the Moon.
Now, about the channels on the fingers…
Left hand:
In the Thumb, we have the Lung channel. It represents the Metal element. I think it would fit Mercury.
Index finger: Intestine, Saturn.
Middle finger: Pericardium, which is Ministerial Fire. I’d link it to Jupiter.
Ring finger: Triple burner is Fire. So, Mars.
Pinky finger: Heart and intestine. So it’s Mars again. But we already have Mars, so maybe Venus? Or Venus on the ring finger, and Mars on the pinky.
Right hand:
Middle finger: Here we have Stomach, Kidney and Conception Vessel. I think it’s related to Saturn.
Ring finger: Pericardium, Jupiter again.
Pinky finger: Stomach and Spleen. Saturn agiam.
Haven’t found any diagram showing Thumb and Index finger.
That’s completely half-baked. If anyone is curious about it, just tag me and I’ll polish this idea further.
A cool benefit would be mixing acupressure to the ritual.

This is a great take. I've been pondering hands recently in terms of elements, principles and other correspondences. Like others in the comments I've not really got the palmistry set up and yours is logical and clear. It was especially pleasing to be shouting 'Saturn!' when you were considering which planet to link an overrunning Mercury to!
Wonderful. Your planetary attributions to fingers makes sense to me as well. I paused the video before each of your attributions to think about where I would place them myself and they were mostly the same, with the initial exception of venus being the ring finger, but when I heard your interpretation it made more sense. I also considered saturn being the thumb, as it's the opposing finger without which there is no grip nor tight fist, but overall Jupiter is a good choice because of the qualities you described.

I use a system yielding from Jyotish(Vedic Astrology) that incorporates many attributes like: Mudra (Pressing the Thumb to another finger’s tip/center/lower part,having the thumb be positioned on top of the same parts of the finger, and having more than one finger be incorporated).
Natural Finger Rulerships (Mars-Thumb, Jupiter-Index, Saturn-Middle, Sun-Ring, and Moon, Mercury, Venus - Pinky).
Zodiac Sign Rulership of a Segment of a Finger (Each separated into 3 Parts: Index= Tip-Aries, Middle-Taurus,Bottom-Gemini. Middle=Tip-Cancer, Middle-Leo, Bottom-Virgo. Ring=Tip-Libra,Middle-Scorpio,Bottom-Sagittarius.Pinky=Tip-Capricorn,Middle-Aquarius,Bottom-Pisces.)
Constellations within the Signs on the Fingers(Which is extremely fine tuned and have not consistently tested it to conclude with it).
Using Astrological Placements and matching it to the fingers’ sign placement( Example:Saturn in Libra placement would = Tip of Ring finger to activate Saturn for that specific placement) and also important to note when using that method will activate both signs (if applicable) ruled by that planet and using Traditional Rulerships: Sun- Leo, Moon-Cancer, Mercury-Gemini and Virgo, Venus-Taurus and Libra, Mars-Aries and Scorpio, Jupiter-Sagittarius and Pisces, Saturn-Capricorn and Aquarius.
Lastly incorporating wearing rings with a specific stone/crystal,banding,stone/crystal cut,carat, and weight of the entire piece; This requires precision of an astrologer with expertise in advising this method alongside an expert craftsman to ensure the piece satisfies all the requirements.
I personally can say, with also my own feedback of advising other people to incorporate these methods, these MOST DEFINITELY cause a response from these techniques, but having the adaption of intention coincide with these techniques is VITAL.

As someone with asd traditional cerimonial and ritual magic does not work for me. Remembering magic exists, and i can do it is hard. While you might view this as a cheat or something to use while out and about. To me, this is a lot more. I feel a stronger connection to whatever aspect of divinity with this than using my cup or wand. It feels more personal and connected. Thank you, Mr. FoolishFish

Interesting. For what it's worth my first thought when it came to the moon was to create a shape with my hand to make it look like a crescent.
When I cross my wrists to bring the backs of both my hands together, I do so with curved fingers representing the crescent and waning moons 😄🌒🌘
It is interesting, the ring finger is the only digit that has two main nerves contained inside it. And if you study field electricity and the coil, it makes sense that the ring would have an influence on bridging the two nerve fields.
There is an aspect of processing the energy through your body which can greatly boost ritual actions. But to do all the forms and movements you have to be pretty athletic and have good sense of rhythm.
I am not a ceremonial magician. And use of movement allowed me to enter in to more advanced forms of ritual practice. Where as previously, everything was based on technique, concentration and effectiveness of small techniques.
It still is, but expending the practice in that way allowed to me to explore aspects that go outside the base necessities for the effect.
Place your right hand on the three, the thumb goes on the Moon, index on Mercury, middle on Mars, ring on Jupiter and little on Venus. The Sun in in the palm. Same goes for the elements and their association with the planets:
Jupiter - Earth
Mars - Fire
Mercury - Air
Venus - Water
Moon - Spirit
Tip for beginners, if you put your left hand in that position, facing towards you, you can see how the fingers exactly correspond to the elements on the pentagram.
The little finger is Venusian also bc of the pinky promise

The Fingers -Index; Mars, fire, [knuckles] the three zodiac signs of fire. Middle; Mercury, air, [kn] the three zodiac signs of air. Third; Jupiter, water, [kn] the three zodiac signs of water. Pinky; Venus, earth, [kn] the three zodiac signs of earth. The Palm - Moon, soul; Open is full - Closed is new. The back of the Hand; Saturn, aether, As Saturn covers all rest of the planets and aether connects all elements together. Thus the order is Spirit, Soul, Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Aether.

All fingers have links to all the planets, its just that some systems believe that a certain finger may have more dominant control over that planet. Varies from person to person. Thats why none of the systems will agree.
Also check out jason reads's chinese magic. It has a finger technique in it called activating the sword finger(mudra), the big dipper sword. its very potent, though subtle.

There's a sign called the sword hand. You extend your index and middle finger (like with finger guns), and make a circle with the pad of your thumb n top of the nail of your ring finger, and your little finger following the curve of your ring finger. If you do it with both hands you should be able to sheathe one in the other. Do with that information what you will.

Curiosity/ignorant question incoming! Why would one tailor and create a unique system of magic rather than follow a tradition? I can think of reasons why you'd join a tradition but not so much why you would go off in the dark and make your own? Anyway, cool vid, thank you.
For the same reason you might learn to tailor your own clothes when you have spent your life appreciating clothes made by big clothes stores, but never quite find clothes that fit.
I think that's what a "real" (I usually try to avoid this word) magician is about; to be able creating something on your own rather than only following systems who were created by magicians before you. Sure you can do that 100% and maybe it would be even safer most of the time than searching in the dark (aka inside you) but also with the cost of probably limiting your own potential. I like to think magic here is similar to language; it's alive, it's constantly changing. If not then it wouldn't be used for long and some day simply die out (if you like to believe practical magic itself was invented by us humans in the first place)
edit: or maybe like any other form of science. Imagine we would still only use the exact same understanding of physics hundreds of years ago. No way right?

From time to time i check out your channel. Sometimes hard to see how poor german publishing is. But ... since a few months i work on a astrological based system for inner magic. It evolves slowly and although its internal i had a lot of signs in the day ... Before that i was very dream based. and one evening orion was suddenly in front of my window as never like before ore after, never had a clue I can see him. I also have a two handed system to represent the planets (mercury is index too) --- i like your idea because it is in the same area. But i integrated gaia because i live on and from her. But the system works, the other seven seem to be okay.
I am a hand gesture kind of guy and loved kinesic magic from Donald since then all the sections of my fingers are Kabbalah letters and planets etc. even a working pyramid I found here in south Florida. To me that’s real magic. Everything else ritualistically isn’t really for me. Maybe because I’m lazy.
somewhere i've read that the ring finger is associated with the Sun, becase it was associated with the heart; symbolically the ring can mean that your heart is taken, but i've also read somewhere that there's a vein connecting the ring finger to the heart - a lot of the correspondences i found about the hands are very cultural (even with mudras and Indian dancing/acting), but the ring finger seems to be mostly associated with the Sun, i think in Tibetan Medicine too, although i'm not sure which book has this kind of info... or maybe it was Thai Medicine or Reusi Dat Ton idk
also, a disclaimer: in medieval or ancient texts the heart isn't really about the physical heart or 'seat of emotions', but the 'seat of the soul', which in a modern context would be the mind or consciousness

Yes, don't wait until you 'have learned it all' before getting started. Other than that, it probably depends which specific issues you're having.
The pinky as grip strength? The only application I can think of where that's the case is shooting a hand gun, and to a lesser extent, sword grip only needs the ring and pinky.
