Yeah, I get why people hate it, but how would they get a new contract with the licenses? They are in legal agreement that they won’t come back.
I think they should do something like halo infinite does, u can buy a battlepass and when time up u still have it and counties to play it

@@TYC7343yes thank you somebody gets it. Contracts run out and they have to be renewed and the company has to want to renew it. Same reason why Capcom hasn’t done another Marvel vs Capcom. The License ran out on the characters they let them borrow and that was that they weren’t renewing reason why they pulled all the digital games from the psn store years ago so if you don’t have them bought and downloaded on your console then it was lost forever. People need to get with the program and understand how the business runs. Ya snooze ya lose if ya slept on Fortnite and decided to come on later and didn’t complete your battle pass or decided to pass on season then 🤷🏽♂️.
@@swaggduhh its not the best, skins are trash also there is a lot of grind, fortnite is pioneer with that ofc they hit or miss with skins but there is not much grind and also value is a lot. Only big downside of fortnite battle passes are foto but beside of that its easy to heal from that
While I have nearly ALL battle pass collab skins (excluding Gwen Stacy unfortunately) the fact that there are probably new players who will never get the opportunity to play as their favorite character is kinda sad, especially when the character is super popular like Optimus, Darth Vader, etc.
Yeah.. I know some people like showing off "rare" skins but for me I just feel bad for newer players who can't get the skins. It's the main reason I don't really like wearing older BP skins.
Yeah, Deadpool is my favorite character... But unless they decide to do an illustrated (celshaded) or movie version. I'm outta luck. It helps the game, but in the long run hurts it WAY more since they have no way of returning.
I hope more people use you as an example of how not to be selfish.

I got superman but it is completely stupid that one of the most (if not the most) famous comic character isn't obtainable anymore. They would really get a lot of money if they bring him back.

Why the hell is he locked behind the Battle Pass, arguably the most iconic superhero in history? Same thing with Superman, and Wolverine, and Iron Man, and about 90% of Marvel characters people actually know and care about. It makes no damn sense.
I feel like all battle pass skins should be available for everyone but to be had at a premium so that people can enjoy them. Maybe the pass holders can have an alternate style to show off they were there at 'inception'. But this spirit of superiority and elitest ownership over skins that this community has has got to go...

Your comment is misplaced, but hey, congratulations; you literally just proved my point. This elitist entitled spirit has got to go. None of us 'own' the skins. We lease them via time and money. None of us have any say. You, me and everyone else that play have had to read and accept (signing) the same disclosure saying that we submit to this and at any given time, EPIC via Fortnite can do whatever the hell they want with this property including your skins. Hard truth, but that's what it is. I've got over 15 years as a developer under my belt and this is so commonplace and has been for forever now. That's why they're able to shut down servers and then you're no longer able to play the game that you put in hard earned money, and time into. It literally means nothing in the grander scheme of things. They literally already have your money and you playing their game gives them credibility, engagement free advertising which all leads to more money. It's just good business.

You have to remember they can take everything we say online into court, so threating a lawsuit when there is no grounds for one could be liable, so, be careful with that. Their spirit of goodwill to the community to allow that as a caveat for prior Battle Pass holders is just that; Goodwill. In the agreement you and everyone sign says theyre allowed to do what they want with everything at anytime. So yah no lawsuits. Shit would be thrown out of court and laughed at. No where is anyone crying. Saying that I'm all for people being included in getting to enjoy all the collabs and everything else if someone has the money is INCLUSIVE. I feel like they should allow people to purchase old battle passes and grind those after you hit lvl 200. they do so in cod mobile and its a good way to keep players playing after they complete the current battle pass. Have like 3 available in rotation per season
No battle passes are exclusive and you only could’ve got them at the time

I really hope this topic doesn’t lose steam. I’ve been saying for a long time that Epic needs to rework their battle pass policy, and it’s looking like more and more people are waking up to that. Fortnite is getting a lot of new players, and with those new players come interest in the content and skins. I’m sure there’s a way they could bring back these old passes to where it’s not too impactful to one side (The yay-sayers and naysayers). It hurt to tell a friend of mine who is a huge Star Wars fan that he can’t get The Mandalorian or Darth Vader because they were in older battle passes. Yes the battle passes were made to capitalize on FOMO, but that shouldn’t be something the community should strive to defend. And truth be told, even if people waited to buy the battle pass instead of right away, it would always be there when they’re ready to play. And with how many collabs they’ve done, player count will not be a problem at all, especially with the addition of the 3 new games, and getting a new season/chapter every few months.

Just give something special for the people who already have the collab skins. More than the reskins and keep those for the ones who got it. And I'm fine for them to get added to the shop.

Battle Pass skins should come back via the Item Shop but maybe make them a rarity, like they don't come back as often as most skins but are still available for those who want to purchase them.
Agree with everything you said, I’m fairly new to Fortnite and it’s such a bummer that soooo many cool skins are locked behind old battle passes, especially skins like The Mandalorian that’s a skin I want sooooo bad! And it sucks that with Fortnite’s current setup I can never get that skin.

Something I like about Halo Infinite is that, unless stated to be, the passes are there and you can progress the one you want to do while still having the opportunity to work on the current one. I hope they can implement something like this because it sucks mainly because my dad missed out on Vader. If they could reformat either specific challenges for the map or make it to where you can spend battle stars or simply earn levels to unlock parts of skins I think that could work. But idk.

Each season is usually 2 months and the collab skins usually comes and the start of the 2nd month you have 1 month too get the skin and the challenges won’t even take you a day you have no excuse and if you couldn’t gets it sorry but it’s epics it’s yours
The no longer available collab skins should be available for purchase in the item shop, while the skin variants are exclusive to the battle pass in my opinion (not reffering to styles)

I've been thinking about this where they could bring bps back like in halo infini you can go back to the s1 bp if you haven't finish for example. If they did choose to bring them back prob start from maybe chapter 1 s8, as it was the first free battle pass they ever gave and that was when the collabs skins started comin like the black widow outfit skin. I know that isn't exclusive, but I think that was the first of the collab skins. For me I would really like Raven, Lara croft, the spiderman stuff, etc. Its just collab skins shouldn't be locked in bps or crews, mainly they have to figure out if they should let the skins be buyable or just let everything in the bp along with the collab skin be available

This is one topic that I’m not siding with the community, the point of the battle pass colabs is to convince you to buy the battle pass, it’s smart, it’s business, that’s all it is
People upset about the collab skins but would cry instantly if the OG renagde raider or the OG galaxy skin would return. Arrow was apart of the crew pack.
I've said this in another video but I wouldn't mind if future collabs in battle passes are available in the shop after the season at full price, I don't care about battle pass rarity at all personally

I really don’t understand why they don’t make a website for the item shop. And any skin that has ever been for sale should be there at all times . So we can just go buy the ones we actually want!
Because that kills the whole point of the Fortnite itemshop, it literally is just a fomo machine, people never know when a skin is last showing up in the shop and thats what makes it sell so much

In all honesty I agree I think people deserve the chance to get their favorite characters and should not be locked in a battle pass
My thing about it is that’s incredibly unfriendly to new players. I got lucky that my favorite character wasn’t a battle pass character and happened to be put in the shop soon after I started playing but I want Mystique and Storm so bad and I’ll never be able to get them it really sucks.
They just need to make a legacy battle pass system. You do that to prevent any legal issues. Also it makes everything less complicated with the value and all. Additionally it would be for all items as it is unfair and stupid to make only some return. You have to go all or nothing and only doing a certain amount can lead to a lawsuit. The same reason also will probably cause crew skins to return as a few have been crossover skins. Overall we just need a legacy battle pass system as you can’t only bring back collab items but all of them as it really makes the value of them way way to confusing.

They're all faces of their respective brands, and they are just locked behind the battle pass. This is just ridiculous. I only have darth vader, my Morty is crying in his locker waiting for rick to arrive.

All battlepasses not just collabs. Halo Infinite and Super Animal Royale allow you to finish the pass on your own leisure and Fortnite needs to adapt this. Let us finish old passes plus theyd get more money

i agree they do need to bring back collabs it doesn't make sense for them to be one time only seeing as that what lures people into playing fortnite there are many people who dont even hear about something till after its gone like what if your a big superman fan and you didn't learn that superman is in the game till after the BP was over then you find out that no matter how much you play or how much you spend you will never be able to get superman because he was in the BP well seeing as have you've already missed out you decide not to waste your time and theres many people who have considered giving fortnite a go because they found out that Vader was in or rick Sanchez or deadpool or something only to find out there already missed there chance to get it and decide theres no point playing now and that list continues to grow every time they do this, The thing thats supposed to draw in new players ironically being used in a way to put off new players thats why collab skins are going to need to return especially since the player base is getting much bigger,

I mean thats how fomo works for yall, like epic knows its far better to put collab skins so that fomo do its things and ppl will want that particular character and they spend theyre money on the bp in fear of loosing it, same thing with limited time items in the shop that use fomo to get more money out of players. I fell to fomo with the switch joycons of fortnite, that they were not on the market anymore and i looked every where for a pair and i ended up spendibg around 90 bucks on them and the code they came with and even tho i was happy i knew fomo has gotten to me too again
As someone who owns most of these I think these should 100% return to the shop to think that spider man,carnage,predator,super man will never return to the shop is ridiculous. I think every body deserves a chance to experience a skin whether it’s a collab or not
We already have special level 200 variants of the bp skins so I don’t see why they can’t bring back old collabs for everyone else the battle pass nowadays only exist for collab skins while everything else is overshadowed
Not every collab has a level 200 variant carnage deadpool Optimus prime and what about the people who originally had the skin but didn’t get the super styles must epic now give them the super styles then will just anger the people who grinded in that season for the super styles don’t fix what isn’t broken the new player want to cry because they didn’t get the skin which there problem they have been doing this for years and exclusively and progression is the entire point of a bp remove that there’s no point of buying it

Yeah, I'd love old stuff to comeback. Battlepasses should be evolving and going in a good direction! Im glad people are finally starting to realize and talk about how awful FOMO is! I hate fomo is such a predatory marketing scheme and I hate that it's like in every one of our games these days. They should copy halo infinite's battlepass system where it doesn’t expire and you can a premium price of like $5 on limited events now that give permanent access! Hope to see some progress! 😁👍🏻
It honestly sucks for me not useing some skins because I don't want to rub it in my friends faces because they missed out.
Collabs are either 10 dollars through the battlepass, or 15 theough the shop

People missing out is not the company’s problem, and each skin stays for 90 days or more, plenty of time to get the skin you want, and you just take away exclusivity from the battlepass if you people whine about missing stuff all the time and expect all the skins of these collabs to return, the skins would also be wayyyy more expensive if they were in the shop and not in the battlepass, not everybody can afford 2000 vbucks everytime they want a collab skin, while a one time purchase to the battlepass can pay for itself, just dumb that people think it’s a good idea to get skins out of the bp and release them to the shop just because they missed out on it

You paid 950 vbucks for a lot of skins, the guy who missed the bp needs to spend 2000 vbucks in just ONE skin (if it's legendary) from that bp. There is your reward for grinding and the punishment for the guy who missed it.
ive only ever bought the battlepass for 1 MAYBE 2 skins per pass, the rest just get archived in my locker. If they allow me to just purchase those skins I doubt I will ever buy the pass again

Variants are viable as many of these characters have different costumes and versions. Yeah, I REALLY think they should stop bringing back Rick and Morty tirelessly while Arcane skins haven't been back in a year or more. It'd be nice in Lego if we could recycle things like dying pickaxes, swords, crossbows, etc for materials like I save the World. I think using water to replenish health would be cool. We DEFINITELY need something for more mobility in Lego Survivor mode cause it does get boring going distance in the map. Maybe we can make a teleportation device to use with our home bases. Horses or horse drawn carriages might be nice or tame wolves and cows to ride on.
I agree i also think old battle fortnite skins should be able to be bought again it just not fair so many people would tell me that they want this skins for example like the OG midas or Meowscles and etc including the collabs and i have to tell them u can't get them and it really depressing
Personally, I do believe that Battle Passes that were never bought or never completed during a Season that you've played should return in some way, shape, or form. As a holder of some rare skins, I quite frankly could give 2 shits if Battle Passes were to come back. BUT there definitely should be some requirements your account would have to make.
First off, you had to have played the season you're hoping to get the Battle Pass from. It can't be a season that you've never played. Second, in order to make it a bit fair, the season also has to neighbor a season in which you did complete the Battle pass if that makes sense. Like if Chapter 2 Season 2's Battle Pass was completed, but all the previous seasons you never did, then you can only redeem chapter 2 Season 1's Battle Pass because Chapter 2 Season 1 is the only Season that actually neighbors Chapter 2 Season 2. I'd also like to mention that they shouldn't be released in the item shop whatsoever, there should be another alternative way of redeeming said Battle Pass. But hey, that's just my opinion, feel free to drop your opinions below if they were to re-release old battle passes.

As a new player its sad to miss these skins. I started sesson 3 chapter 3 so missed everything prior and some chapter 4 cause i didn't like season 4. Ive had this idea that epic should allow players to buy old battle passes to aquire whatever they want
As its sad to say you won't be acquiring any of these skins Epic doesn't have a license to re-release any collab skins and the battlepass was made to make people to continue and play. Because honestly think about it why would a regular person want to spend their money on something anyone can unlock 🤦

I personally only care for 2 collab skins that have been in the battlepass. There are more original skins that i wish i had, but i know that they won't ever release those.
There are also 2 crew skins that i wish i had... and still waiting for a crew member option where we are able to get the ones that we've missed somehow since i have been a crew member for a full year now.
but we all know that once they release anything "exclusive" in the item shop, people will riot

I’m not gonna lie, im sick about the marvel battle pass… I was in basic training for the navy during that time and despite having some of the most sought after skins in the game in my locker, I’ll never be able to get iron man which is one of my most wanted skins ever 😢( I have Tony… but no armor)

To be honest, I feel like the only way this could happen (Hypothetically) is this
1: There in the item shop but in different tabs
2:They slowly rerelease items before they get comfortable with it and rerelease the skins
3:They will have a separate version of the battle pass (Like during chapter 4 season 1 & 3.)
4:The past battle passes will be in the “V-bucks” tab and is behind the “950 V-bucks” Price tag.

5: The passes are back but behind a pay wall and it will be most likely cost “$7.99 or $8.99”
(Extra note on the 4 and 5) You can only progress with one other battle pass with the current one and not all of them like for example you can grind out chapter 2 season 3 and chapter 5 season 2 at the same time.

Superstyles will be considered a exclusive style for people who purchase the pass before they was rereleased to the public.
Future battle passes will be added with the older passes so that it would be fair.
And the people who already own the battle passes will be granted on how many season passes they own like for example if you started purchasing battle passes from season 2 to chapter 5 season 1 will be granted 280,000 V-bucks. (Amount of V-bucks can vary depending on how much passes you own.)

4 and 5 seem like the best way to go, 5 if they want to get the most money which would seem like a business move or 4 if they want to keep the community in mind but maybe double the price
Here’s an idea I heard years ago… what if epics did release old battlepasses skins. For example: Ch.2S5. You get all the skins minus the supers styles and mandalorian armor. For a flat fee of 90$? Or all of one chapter set minus super styles for 150$?

I think battle pass should return Because I know a lot of people saying people won't buy them because they're not as close if that is not true. People are still by them. Because when you get a better Deal you You spend nine hundred and fifty bucks To get all of them skins, even though they put them into the outer shop, the people that buy them is gonna have to pay one thing I would like them to do is make a tab where you can actually buy and grind them again. Cause the game gets boring when you get everything done I just think it needs a change who really cares about. Rarity has no value in the game anyway. Secondly, it is sucks if you can't get your Fur character. You like also people need to stop Gatekeeping skins, because no one really cares.

So get technique that's somewhat a little click baiting in the AutoShop, ask reason why people want breaking wood to come back so epic thinks they're talking about them skins. Collabs in battle pass adds more value. Original skins is declining or Epic Games being lazy now days. Current season original skins pretty meh. Fortunately Peter Griffin and Solid Snake look appealing. I am confident players will grind for those collabs.
If they treated battles passes like a bundle you get all those cosmetics for 950 v bucks but if they bought them back ad standard shop prices e.g. 2000 v bucks for legendary people couldn’t complain because they still got there moneys worth🤷
A bit late to this video but, an idea I thought of is for example let’s say u want the original Spider-Man, they could put him in the shop as a bundle and when u purchase it, u get his base style, pickaxe, and backbling, then u get quests attached to him so the quests can be like level up this many times so that people who buy still have to work to do and buying battle pass levels would not count on those level up quests and each one that u complete gives u one of his rewards like his glider, gun wrap, and the final two rewards would be his black suit and white suit. And the ogs will still exclusively own the super styles. That way people will be happy to own these things and ogs can keep some exclusivity to the skin.
Emotes on the other hand I don’t know, I can honestly go without the emotes I missed. But the main point is that it’s crazy to think how many such iconic characters are locked away forever.
Alternative, Maybe they can use a similar system to the refund tickets but for battle passes, so u have 3 tickets to get a previous battle pass but each ticket u use costs the normal 950, and when u use the tickets u have to wait a til next year so for example if u spend all 3 tickets u have to wait til 2025, the second ticket 2026, then 2027 for third one. That way people still can work towards skins they want but there’s a limit, on top of all that u would only be able to work to tier 100 of the pass so no bonus rewards.
I guess for secret skins maybe make be like level up quests packs or something.
The collaborations should be able to go to the item shop in a higher price, but if you want cheaper in the battle pass. But 1% cosmetic in feature Collab skins from battle pass should go to the shop of anytime with full set and a price to get. … happy faces on a player and Epic game money face win win.

No it doesn't. The value is that you can use the content of the skins emotes etc. It being exclusive doesnt add anything, especially when you can literally just buy tiers so its not even a flex to earn.

I dont mind there being variants for skins but not the og battle pass skins. They were locked to that season for a reason. Bringing it back would have defeated the lore surrounding the skins. I wouldnt mind if they brought back old battlepasses as long as they compensate for the time and grind I put into leveling up and obtaining they styles and bonus rewards I grinded for. I know I have the skins and stuff but I put time and effort into those passes and not everyone has the money to buy the whole thing like others do. Hoping if they do this they do it right and fair to those who completed the battlepasses.

I missed out on the season 5 Battle Pass & even tho I bought it, I got a few skins but I basically threw money away in a sense, I was a little upset with the fact I didn't get ragnarok, & It would be nice if I could get the chance of completing it. I think that collab skins should never have been on the Battle Pass since it would be demanded by ppl to sell it in the Item shop, Fortnite needs to update their item shops per mode bc I barely notice any changes, and when there is changes I dont notice them. Separated Item shops would make each one simplier like in Chapter 1

Epic should let us re buy old battle passes and the only way to start obtaining stars for the old pass is to finish the current pass. This lets people who finish battle passes quickly something to do.
Pass seasons I have completed the pass and had like a month until the season ends and was left bored and waiting.
