It probably because you might not have the latest version of the game maybe that’s it Idk. What version of Sonic 1 Forever do you have exactly? Sometimes mods might not work unless you go to the latest game version. Like if you install a Sonic 3 A.I.R. Mod that requires a later version of the game you will get text reminding you. You should get this latest version of the game on the Sonic 3 A.I.R. with the mod name in order for this mod to work. Don’t worry I can fix that I will make another version of that same mod except have it remove Amy Rose & the golf feature. The latest version of Sonic 1 Forever has Amy & Golf. If you want to try out the New Amy you can do it and you will see she has a very cool move set.

When I run the mod, the game throws me and when I go to the game again, the mod is turned off.
