- Our first Mini Bike Moto Vlog, 5 hours in rough back country on the Dirty Bug Baja. Started the day nearly getting stampeded off the bike!
An important update about our Removal Order.
Then just some fun and testing out the broken Gopro, had it taped to my chest for the duration.
These Baja bikes take a whole lot of abuse but I finally broke something on it today! Now I need to find a skateboard wheel for a new tensioner....
Bike has a 5hp Honda GC160 in it.

@@GodforsakenCustoms Thanks man! I ditched the tensioner, instead I made the wheel adjustable backwards and shortened the chain. I have problems with maintenance on those things, they always seem to fall apart. Hope that helps!
@@DuckmanCycles I'm at that point where I need to get a half link, or tensioner, or something else, prefer the spring tensioner because it makes for a lot less maintenance (tightening wise for me, Just shouldn't have used cheap locknuts is all). Way I ride this thing out here the 35 chain likes to STREEEEEETCH!
@@GodforsakenCustoms Yeah those little chains are rubber.. and its hard to find a quality one. I upgraded to a 428 (aka #40.) One of the local motorcycle dealerships gave me crap about a 428 being so small as most production bikes have a 520 or bigger these days. Then I showed them the #35 chain which I replaced and told them what it was off of and they changed their tune lol!

Chain, Clutch and Rear Sprocket mod coming soon....I'm planning on rebuilding both the bikes we have when we get back to the UK. Thinking about cutting the frames up to fit into my suitcase depending on the airline rules, I don't need to take my clothes back...
Out here we're 2 hours from the nearest town, and parts are virtually impossible to get there, without a 5-8 hour drive depending on direction. Plus I have no license currently to drive a car! Lots of bike parts available back where we come from so then will be time to upgrade. I'm just amazed it's lasted as long as it has, rode it nearly every day since I had it.
Reminds me of ripping through the trails and backroads as a kid on the east coast. Brought back some fond memories. Great video.

@@GodforsakenCustoms If I had to guess, the Doodlebastard probably does a little better than that on account of having a 5 speed transmission. Maybe 60-70mpg? But I think tank holds significantly under a gallon though, haha! Maybe I could make it across town and back! 😂

I really miss doing that. We live on an island chain on the southern tip of South Carolina, I used to 4 wheel all through the marshes when the tide was out.
