Just a thing I noticed - the 'tanks' extending into the walls with the hatch wheel in the labs are probably autoclaves, they show up in medical, research, and certain industrial facilities. Mostly they're used for sterilizing equipment and tools with high-pressure steam, but they are also useful for studying the effects of, well, high pressure and temperature.
IMO the best method to get rid of that one Burer in the toilet, faking baby's cry is to arm oneself with Gauss rifle, aim and then open the door. But it's good thing to quicksave before it, because once you miss that SOAB or he'll manage to pull your gun from your hands, he likes to lock himself there and throw everything around at you, so aim and timing is a key.
For the question of how the various facilities and x labs still have power: reactors 1, 2 and 3 might still be in use by the c consciousness via monolith. In real life the reactors, except for reactor 4 for obvious reasons, were used for a long time after the incident. The plant only just stopped producing electricity entirely when reactor 3 was shut down in the year 2000. You don't have to suspend your disbelief so much to think that the power plant is still in use in the games setting.
One thing that I like the Stalker game most is the underground facilities. They thrilled me and pushed me to explore because of their unknown mysterious secrets. Too bad that this is the last of the series. I really look forward to seeing more new underground facilities in stalker 2

My favorite locations out all of the 3 games always were Pripyat and Outkirts but there's something about the underground labs that keeps anyone with their eyes peeled. The mystery and the lore behind it is very intriguing.

I believe Sin's base was supposed to be in the Military Warehouses. A similar group that was cut was indeed interested in the labs (X-18 at least), it was called Black Slugs. I have no idea what Chernobog and Strilobog are.
X-8 is the creepiest laboratory in my opinion. It's a lot larger than X-18 and X-16, and the sound of the crying baby emitted by the Burer is incredibly unsettling.
In real life we had spec ops versions of m-tac sniper rifles by the beginning of the war in 2014 acquired by smugglers/black market gun dealers, and we had some tropheic/looted russian weapons as well, but after the mass attack in 2022 (& bullets for them, of course). It may just be a part of a real world - i know where to get sub-mil grade FPGA and non-chinese, but not mass-produced intel chips just because i have studied for electronics engineer, same thing with military professions i'll guess, or another way to acquire service weapon - is to steal it, being a service man, russian soldier could probably be a stalker in S.t.a.l.k.e.r universe

It could be possible that the document referencing lab "X10" might have been intending to say "X19" and just happened to be a typo that was missed by the developers before the game was released. As for the steam coming from that tank, it could be possible that it is a steam anomoly. As you had mentioned in previous videos of fire anomolies and chemical anomolies existing in places that flammable substances and toxic chemicals had been previously.

That's a problem of translation. In some languages he is named Kalancha and others Beanpolev but it's the same person.

Important note: Laboratory X-8 was originally supposed to be located not in Pripyat but in cut map Generators as "War Lab"
That is correct. The location was recycled in Call of Pripyat.
