My ideas for the next herbie movie: 1. Herbie will still look the same like in herbie fully loaded, but the racing stripes on his sunroof makes a return. 2. Add a new character named Ronald Douglas (jackie earle haley), who is the son of Jim Douglas. 3. Have Zach cooper and horace return.

As a kid in the 80’s, I watched this movie every day. Wondered what ever happened to the original actors. I see they’ve tried to remake it but it’s not the same!
beunstar what if the new movie has where the NASCAR parts of Fully Loaded was a dream. Jim restores Herbie before he dies and his grandson inherits Herbie. Brad Douglas, son of Matthew from the TV series, inherits Herbie and witnesses similar moments that Jim and other friends of Herbie has experienced.

@@jswatch9270 that's a good idea but to the fans of the older movies, it'll be best if Nascar didn't happen. After all, stock cars are only used a certain amount and discarded. Herbie's no longer street legal thanks to the Peyton racing team.

Does anybody remember an old movie with a VW beetle? I believe it was a yellow beetle possibly a super beetle? I'm positive it is not Herbie. I believe it was made in the 70s.
62 years of age and I can't tell you how many times I watched Herbie Rides again. Have yet to see the other Herbie movies but after watching this video I think its just as funny as Herbie rides again. One thing I hate about hollywood is when they choose to reboot an old movie. To me that is an insult to the original. Thats why I chose never to watch the reboot of Herbie Rides again as by the time the movie came out all of the original characters had passed away plus the movie promo made it look dumb and stupid.

It's rather funny and cool at the same time that you can actually put a 4 barrel intake on a VW 1500 so it really WILL be 4 mighty cylinders.
