At one point you said something like "you're not here to hear me talk about things other than manga" and I gotta say that someone breaking away from their usual content is one of my favourite kinds of videos! I have a broad interest, so seeing you talk about other visual media is cool to see. And I'd dig a video about your taste in non-comic books sometime too. (:
Your chosen channel name is a major reason why I started watching your videos ("ooh, an *eclectic* collector, huh?"), and your taste in manga and then the variety in other media you show here really does that name honour.
The reason I say that is for the most part whenever I mention anything not related to manga no one says anything in response, "Oh, I saw that show or saw that film too!" It's funny, because the name originally referred to the fact that this used to be a half manga/half music channel. I used to talk about bands I liked and did whole hour long videos, but they'd max out on 20 views and an average watch time of 1 minute. Given it takes me a week or more to make a video, it felt like I was putting in all this work for little to no views.
The way I do it now is I'll throw in film and tv show references in manga videos. Or even just randomly go on a tangent about a film I saw recently just to change it up. It's tough to break away and do something completely different, because those videos usually don't do well. It sucks, but when a whole fanbase wants to see this one thing, they don't watch videos that aren't related to it.
Also, sorry for the massive reply. It is something I think about all the time, finding ways of changing up the content so it doesn't become stale.

Wow never in my wildest imagination would I have thought a simple recommendation I made would be your number 2 favorite manga of the year. I am so happy you enjoyed The Soloist in a cage, the story has stayed with me to point I've reread it several times.
It's an incredible series. Plan on doing another full video about it. Got a friend of mine into it as well. He's fallen in love with the story. Haven't read vol 3 yet, because I get so caught up in reading for videos that everything else ends up getting put off.
I look forward to your final thoughts on the short but impactful series
I hate the idea of digital manga. What kind of device do you use to read digital? I've only tried on my phone so maybe that's the problem.
I use my Kindle.
I usually just use my phone since I mostly read at work. Haven't had any issues with it. Used to read on my kindle fire.
