1.4million Yeah, it's worse The 16 and 18 Go all the way to Bonn with 350k inhabitans, the 7 goes to Frechen and the 1 goes to Bergisch Gladbach so yeah, WE URGENTLY need a Metro the light rail isn't meant to Serve 1.4 mil people@@SuperUnbenannt

Most series grouped together can couple and operate together. While series 2000 to 2300 have significant differences (e.g. drivers cabs on both vs one end), they were all manufactured by the same company. The K4000 and K4500 can couple, but aren't coupled together in regular service. The series 5100 and 5200 are virtually indistinguishable. The K5000 was developed for cologne later being used in Manchester (M5000) as well. The K4000 was also developed for cologne, and is now called the Flexity Swift family by Bombardier, used in Tramlink (CR4000) as well
Die Serie 2000 ist heute nicht mehr im Linienverkehr unterwegs. Sie wird nur noch als fahrschulwagen verwendet und das hauptsächlich in der EBO Ausbildung.

I really don't feel that way. Small, overcrowded trains and stations, slow speed due to the lack of grade seperation, mediocre headways. I think Cologne and it's region really would deserve a proper metro. The length of the system with 200km of track is very impressive though, longer than any of the real metros in Germany.

@@PHONELAS7 Also Berlin has a good S-Bahn, which is very well connected to the Metro. I'd take Berlin's transit system over Cologne's any day of the week.
