RIP Wilt, Chocolate Thunder, Moses, and Caldwell Jones.
First NBA game attended was 76ers vs Knicks at MSG, 2 days after Xmas 1967.
All the legends they got for interviews is amazing
You need to do a sequel for "Trust the Process"
Could you imagine 1976-1982 happening today? Billy C may have been run out of town regardless of what he did in 1968. Thanks for small favors! So glad I was only in single digits back then.
Even still, I never realized how spoiled I was until the early 90s happened. Rough times for Philly sports.......
Thanks, Moses. They owed us one!
Thanks a lot man.Dr J.
51:50 that dunk over Bill Walton.
Thank you for sharing this excellent documentary with us 😍 so amazing to learn about the sixers history along with the talent over years 😃 what a franchise
What a player Maurice Cheeks was 😃
Erv VING ..
Just a class organization I am a Celtic fan I love the Lakers riveraly but we played together more in the 80s it was awesome and there fans are crazy good like us and in football those eagle fans are insane but first they know there sports real fans like Boston and I love cheese steaks and I love it it was cause of Philly fans they invented the plastic beer bottle poor Santa got hit with the glass bottle in a football a game in Philly in 1994 I love it much respect to Philly
Many times I heard my dad talk about "They broke up Doc and George". As a child I had no clue what he meant, but I knew it aggravated the hell out of him. I believe that became Barkley 6 years later as the trade finally conveyed.
no World B Free was traded for Barkley pick
I still wear my Iverson Syracuse Nationals jersey!!! The team that started it all
And how could I forget about Allen ivasen number 3 A I supper star tough motherfuck clutch clutch but I am talking about practice practice lol love this guy just a beast hall of fame class act guy
Very curious uniform oddity - at 11:15, during a 1976-77 game against the Nets, George McGinnis is wearing a jersey with the 1975-76 font while the rest of the team is wearing jerseys with the 1976-77 font . . .
Nice observation
That is a great observation, I wouldn't have noticed that
because they wanted more championships they forgot the Nationals(Nats). They were the origins of 76ers.

Founded in 1946 and originally known as the Syracuse Nationals(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_76ers)

Why are the Sixers claiming Warrior's history? That's like Timberwolves claiming the history of George Mikan era Lakers.
They were just examining NBA history in Philadelphia
They were the Philadelphia warriors at one point
@@blancbanga7105 They was not, The Philadelphia Warriors are now the Golden State Warriors.
The Syracuse Nationals are now The Philadelphia 76ers
@@amazing50000 plz re read what u wrote because u make no sense respectfully
@@blancbanga7105 Doesn't make sense? Once again
The Philadelphia Warriors are now The Golden State Warriors.
The Syracuse Nationals are now The Philadelphia 76ers
What is hard to understand? Did you listen to the documentary correctly?
The Philadelphia Warriors moved to the San Francesco Bay Area in 1962. The Syracuse Nationals moved to Philadelphia in 1963 to become the 76res.
The Warriors and Sixers were different franchises.
You can't claim the San Francisco/Golden State Warriors as a history of the Sixers, the Sixers weren't born until '65
Could do without the music
The Warriors are NOT part of the Sixers franchise history. The Syracuse Nats were the Sixers franchise before coming to Philly. The Nats title is included in the Sixers Wells Fargo center right next to the two titles that the Sixers won in Philly... you don't see any Warrior title banners up there with them. The Syracuse Nats became the 76ers. We don't share our history with the Warriors... we share our history with the Nats... because they are the same franchise, just a different name but the same colors.
Riffin' Remmy ok, its not like I'm losing any sleep over that, everything worked out great i love my 76ers
Just like the Minneapolis Lakers shouldn't be In the Lakers history.
They were examining NBA history in Philadelphia. It's relevant to the story.
@@angrymobsters1599 ...The Lakers began in Minneapolis. They're the same organization, PERIOD!!!
Riffer Madness ...The Philadelphia Warriors were the first NBA franchise team in Philadelphia. The latter moved to San Francisco later on.

What an awkwardly formatted documentary
Just look at all the hall of famers. On Just these couple of teams. And this generation thinks the teams of today could actually compete and actually beat these teams from the past lmmfao 😂😂😂
