Are you anime only out of curiosity?

I always laugh when she gets eaten 😂

You're gonna have to several videos on just Eren, because his growth through every season to, and to his very abrupt and logical transformation to the last season shows a great example at long term character development.
he’s literally the same

I am so happy that you’re finally reacting to AOT. The amount of psychological/mental issues portrayed in both the manga and the show are so well done
The amount of depression in AOT is unmatched
Monsters aren't born, they are made.
Cliche but true.
I think it’s irony a boy so obsessed with freedom that he was shackled by it technically
Monsters aren't born, they've always existed and they'll never die (according to the finale).
@@Poke-ladd He was just following an endless cycle just like Ymir did. His "obsession" had always been his fate from the very beggining...
@Hshs Bshs As they say:
The game was rigged from the start (in AoT that is).
Eren is such a rich, deep, and an interesting character. So this analysis video was fun to watch! Thanks for making it
It saddens me that all that richness and depth went down the gutter with that ending... (sigh)
@@javiervasquez625
I don’t think it “went down the gutter” he definitely changed, yeah he became more irritating and mysterious, and I don’t like him in that last season, BUT I do believe there is a really good and important reason for it. At least I hope so.

Georgia is gonna have a fun time analyzing Reiner Braun.
Thank you Hajime Isayama for creating such a masterpiece. And thank you for the video Georgia. Eren's growth is just... it bring tears to me to see how he turned out to be. But it was understandable. He's one of the most complex character I ever known.
I really hope she continues to make videos on this series. So much to take in with it.
"I'll kill them all, every last one of them" hits different when you've caught up with the show.
I was not expecting this. Can’t wait for more! Attack on Titan is peak fiction and I can’t wait for the deep explorations we get from you!
So amusing to listen to fans of the current season cheer vigorously for Reiner and Annie. "Oh yeah! What a glorious team-up! Woo-hoo!"
Meanwhile I remember this opening scene and when Annie twirled a scout on his ODM gear like a toy while the blood sprayed everywhere. Me: "Yeah, Annie and Reiner sure did team up I guess..."
I never forgave them. The author was obvious in his humanizing attempts, but they made the choice to continue, even after learning of what was actually going on.
No sympathy.
@@Adanu191 to them it was a war, and for that war they fought for their side.
@@gidi3250 cool, so by the same logic Eren is fighting war for his side right?
I recommend watching it sub because the voice performance in the anime is like the importance of choosing the right actors to perform certain characters and it is one of the strengths of the series and is based on communicating the feelings and development of the character perfectly
Honestly I love the dub for this show, specifically in Erwin's time to shine in both seasons 2 and 3, his VA just nailed it (also I've heard the VA stopped watching the show after the episode where Erwin dies in order to stay true to the character)
@@michaelbailey1242 the dub is top tier. Especially Erwin
The analysis of Eren's strenght and motivation is on point. But the anime is even better when you realize his mother's death isn't what it seems to be. That part is yet to be revealed in the anime, but the manga readers know.
We are the ones who KNOWS
can you please explainnn what is it? i am willing to get spoiled!
@@amy-gt9sf basically eren had to direct that Titan to Carla so that she doesn't eat Bert since it wasn't the timeline so in a sense he killed Carla but he didn't had a choice... It was decided by ymir
@@Itachi-kun81 the best part is that we don't even know, if all events were avoidable or not. That is how the show has been since the very beginning: we know only what characters know, and nothing more. Eren believes that what he saw is the 100% true, that he doesn't have a choice, and so do we. But we. don't. know. And I love it
Watching this, as a former anthropology student, I greatly appreciate how you elaborate on the relationship of the prehistoric human environment to modern psychology. Your grounded yet expansive analysis is a wonderfully refreshing thing to hear.
I desperately want to watch you react to all the main characters of Berserk, please do that when you have time! Love your stuff it’s super interesting and opens up a whole new realm for me to ponder.
I've been wanting to see a therapist talk about Eren for a while, thank you for choosing this topic, it's so interesting!
i really hope there will be more of Eren on this channel because the futher you go into the seasons the more interesting Eren becomes.
To think that your analysis covers the first two episodes and and yet is still able to create such a deep and relatable scene. Every time I watch Carla's death I get punched in the heart just as intensely as the first time....ahhh, got something in my eyes *cries noisily* Thank you for your video, stellar as always.
Eren was just 19 at the end of the series... Still a kid. It's heartbreaking.
Really love that you analyze characters in anime i dont see it as much as i would want huge props to this channel.
Finally u have done it I waited way too long
English dub really takes away a lot of emotions and changes a lot of dialogues 😵💫 wich is a weird choise. But im really happy that she is watching this show 🙌
aot has one of the best dubs of all time what do u mean
@@guccitheft cowboy beebop has one of the best. Aot dub changes a lot of things, even sound fx that dont fit. The colosal and armored reveal is an example of that.

I love your character break downs and the characters that you do them on. Brilliant work as always, you nailed it!
I cry at the mother's death scene every single time. Poor little Eren and Mikasa. Poor Carla, poor Grisha.
Awesome video about an awesome show ! I definitely hope you will make a full series on this one like you did with Arcane ! It was so cool and interesting ! Moreover, seeing the important informations you are able to find about characters with just little details reveals how deep the writing of these series is.
Absolutely more of this please. AoT has so many good examples of complex character motivation and mentality and I think diving deeper into some of these moments would be interesting but also give everyone watching a more in depth lens to see all of these amazing characters. Love this vid
Ayyyyye! Good to see you picked up attack on titian! Always love to hear your insights. Looking forward to hearing more of you're perspective as you work your way though things.
Hi georgia!!! youre doing amazing work!!
I was hoping for this video so much! I love it!!!! 💞
Eren always been my favorit charakter and his personality is so complicated but simple at the same time...
I'm so happy you're also doing videos on anime characters! I hope you'll take a look at Tokyo Ghoul and Fruit Basket, both of them have a lot of psychological insights and have a big fanbase.
This is the first video I''ve watched on this channel. I feel like I found a gem. The channel is unique and it's clear why. Not many people can both be a good psychologist and be able to apply the knowledge in such an interesting way. That's why the channel grew so fast.
I didn't know you started AOT!!! 😭I love this, tysm!! 💜
So hyped for these videos - - catching up with the show now
= ))
What kills you doesn’t always make you stronger. Plenty of things will make you weaker, and make you more of a target.
I think it's time to define what exactly "strong" and "weak" is.
Sure, the world is unfair- but at least I can bend the rules a bit to my advantage
@@stranded.comics if your pinned and crushed under a large object, and there’s a situation where people are evacuating due to danger, it’s realistic to expect to die.
@@stranded.comics your comment has done nothing to change the definition of strong or weak. Your simply offering a different way you can be strong, or not even strong maybe manipulative.
Ahhhhh, ok- so we're talking about literal strength.
Perhaps her support system needed to be stronger (more friends/family/soldiers) to help lift the weight.
@@stranded.comics your clearly the one who was thinking physical strength the whole time, otherwise why bring up the obvious that you can bend rules? Bending the rules is a form of manipulation and isn’t always strength either, it can in fact show weakness.
I love you went over this for Eren, Eren has been my fave character throughout the entire show and would love to know more of the psychology behind him.
Amazing/accurate analysis as always.
OMG, i've been waiting for this reaction and analysis.
Great video! I think the characters in AOT, especially Eren, have so much to unpack. Eren is my favorite main character because I find he’s a tragic character who I strongly empathize with with. I also love that you covered Carla’s “don’t leave me”, it’s rare that ppl address it. It highlights my favorite thing about the show which is that the characters feel like real ppl. Ofc she wants her kids to be safe but in that moment about to face her death she breaks just a little cause of course she would, who would want to be alone in a moment like that. It breaks my heart every time. I hope you do more AOT in the future!!!
Thanks for sharing your insights. Blessings on your day 👍🏻
This was a nice surprise. Can't wait to see more! ^^
I used to love AOT! Love the channel and all the vids!
You "used" to love AoT? ¿So i take it you hate it now possibly for wathever directions Hajime Isayama took the story? (not to mention the depressing ending)
I really hope you ll annalyse Eren s character further in the anime. He s definietly a wild ride to annalyse
PS: please have your mods look though the video s comment sections before you read it. AoT s fandom is really filled with people that spoil even unintentionally
Great video Thank you
Wow, I can't believe you're making a video on Attack on Titan now! I remember having this thought like a year ago, that it would be so cool if you analyzed this anime!
Coolest therapist! Love you and your work, Georgia! ^v^
Oooh covering another show I've seen. I hope you watch and enjoy it all the way through. The way the show turns on its head so much and so many times has made it one of my favorites.
Thanks for another great video Georgia!!! Please do more Attack on Titan I love this show!!
I would love to see more Attack on Titan videos!
Especially about subsequent seasons!
This series gets better with every season.
It would be wonderful if you covered the characters in Made In Abyss
Good video, especially for AoT. Hope you make other videos of the series. Besides the fantasy titans, medieval time, this anime is more a psychological triller of many characters psychology changing or breaking apart!
That's the plan! I am enjoying the show
Omg I love this please more !!!!! I’d watch all of them
I'm loving this Georgia weeb arc.
10/10 character analysis just subbed.
I’m curious about your thoughts on All might, All for one, Shigaraki, Deku and Bakugo
Can’t wait for you to make more videos. Especially when you get to seasons 2, 3 & 4
Okay I really want you to do a series for this anime because my God I love this
Btw loved this video, hope you get to finish the series, there are some really interesting scenes to comment on, specially in season 4 (watch it in japanese).
I love this channel
OMG I always wanted her to react to AOT and thought it was perfect for her level of in-depth psych analysis but never thought the show would fall on her radar so i am SO HAPPY that I was wrong here. YES!! Please do more of Eren and the other characters!! Armin, Sasha, LEVI!! It would be so cool to even have a Shadis video or Yelena when/if she gets that far. I'm even down for a Titan analysis video and comparing the different types. AOT is a rabbit hole of perspective and I can't wait to watch her fall down!
Eren is definitely visionary. Through the whole show I was constantly worried he would get people killed over his rage. I haven't finished the show yet though so more suprise could await.
this makes me so happy, i was considering requesting attack on titan as its so beautifully written, especially erens character. your videos are amazing, love you.
I am really enjoying the show = )
Sweet! If you're doing anime as well, can I humbly request Cowboy Bebop? TIA
Edit: I mean the anime Bebop. Not the horror show that was the love action
I'm so excited to see you break down the show and how it deals with the psychological consequences these characters experience.
What I overlooked before is Mikasa's consistent action to what we learn about her in like the next volume. Her "I can't" may not refer just to that she couldn't stop Eren but may also reinforce her stand on not leaving Karla her adopted mother to die as she has already seen her first mother murdered right in front of her or just that she doesn't want Eren to go through the same thing as when she says that she goes to help Eren getting Karla out once again after a bit o a stutter. And her looking away when Eren doesn't also fits that she already saw it once
Great video. I would love to see your analysis video on Anna Leonhart
Yes! Analysis on one of my favorite long term character developments!!! I hope to see various Eren episodes (particularly when he breaks down in s2 finale and ofc how he is in s4).
Loved the scarf btw
I'm looking forward to more AoT videos there are a lot of rich psychological topics further on in the story. Very excited!!
Oh my goodness ATTACK ON TITAN FINALLY
Love the scarf!
Also id recommend checking out the anime Fruits basket i think youll enjoy it and alot to talk about.
I hope you do a video on Annie Leonhart; she’s one of my favourite characters
man haven't seen aot in a while, this was an interesting analysis! I'd love if you'd do one with Hanji, their behaviors and willingness, they are my everything
boy howdy is this gonna be a fun journey
Georgia struggling to speak while the tears gather again. Mine were flowing so much during this one. I've always had the prefrontal cortex thing. I was always the one telling the other kids, "If you do that, THEN this is what's going to happen!" And yes! Many things didn't kill me, but they did make me stronger! = ) I have been derided for jumping in and fighting to make things better by those who seem to never see anything as worth fighting for. One thought about this AOT scene: Why didn't the adult help the kids free the Mom, and carry the Mom to safety? I know for "plot" they wanted it this way, but there WAS this obvious way to win. I think it's lazy writing. The "It obviously DIDN'T have to be that way" can quickly sour me on some stories.
I don't really know about Hannes helping. Half of the house fell on Carla, even *if* Hannes was strong enough to lift everything off her, by the time he would have had been able to do it, the Titan could have easily killed all of them - it was already very close. We would have just ended up with three more deaths.
@@aquana Three reasons I don't agree. First, I was driving a classic car when the exhaust system partially broke near the engine. While trying to break it off completely, I lifted the car. I'm a very strong guy, but the exhaust system gave me leverage, Second, I have worked demolishing a house. Nothing in the construction of a house is all that heavy. Even in a pile. Especially a pile on her legs only. Third, in the time he took to run towards the Titan, and then run back, he could have got her out and been gone, with her kids running along beside.
@@classicslover The tragedy of this is that he probably could have helped Carla IF he hadn’t had that first reaction of overblown courage. I agree if his first instinct had been to logically aid in Carla’s rescue they may have all survived, but his overconfidence and desire to live up to the expectation of heroism doomed her.
@@jnashine7367 Exactly. He could have been a REAL hero by saving Carla first...then go back and waffle about fighting later.
Speaking of manga/anime, I suggest you a psychological trip to Ken Kaneki’s mind. It’s a lot of material to have fun with.
Or if that’s too hard to understand, try Light Yagami
You're in for a wild ride with this guy.
Very lovely we would love watch more about Eren specially after he grows up
Finally!!🎉
alright time to subscribe
I love that mom because she's doing what I hope I would do in that situation. It's also intriguing thinking about fighting a Titan because part of me would want to fight them but I don't really think it's possible to win. So as much as I hate it that mom has to stay behind. I love that mom because I can see she really loves her children. Dancing to my geans or not I know I have always felt protective twords my family members. I often have dreams about fighting to protect them agenst all kinds of things. I remember one dream me and my little sister were hiding behind a large recliner and they kept getting closer so I jumped out to fight them so they wouldn't find us both. So I guess in that dream I was trying to keep my sister safe.
Are you gonna comment on the other characters/parts of this series ? I find your videos really fun to watch
I hope you do more videos on eren because his development goes a long way!
And oh... (I'm back) I forgot to mention... I LOVE your Mikasa SCARF and aot TRAINING cadets uniform that you got going. Nice touch. It's all about in the DETAILS, just like AOT. 😁
Yay, thank you! It took a bit of time to find the right jacket
You should definitely do more for Eren he's just a complex character
Watch 86--the second half of the anime is all about character psychology and it's gold.
I personally never liked eren as a kid maybe because he was to realistic..... And when he was a teenager he seem so unrealistic...i don't know something is off about him that I liked and hated......
really like to see a therapist reaction to " amphibia" a show about growing up change neglect toxic relationship.... But more power to u I love anything u made it was on my mind for a long time I just wanted to put it out there....... I just wish it won't be rude to ask.....
Thanx u again
I think it would be a great idea if you would also talk about the Psychology of Ayanokoji Kiyotaka from Classroom of the Elite. The anime show is a great psychology thriller. Totally recommend it.
Oh yes more of attack on Titan please
Especially season 4
It think it would be great if you also explore Guts (from the manga Berserk) psychology. His struggle to overcome his trauma from his childhood to adulthood. The trauma that keep haunting him every single nights. Also you had to check out the anime/manga called Vinland saga where Thorfinn had trauma from losing his father and the PTSD of war.
Please consider doing more attack on titan videos.
Please do more anime content 🙏. I learned a little bit more Eren and how complex a character he is.
oooohhhhh i can't wait for the Reiner video now
Please please please do Levi Ackerman. He has been through so much and remained so strong and unbreakable. I’d like to know what it takes to be able to hold on like he does. With no regrets.
Please do more on AOT the characters in this show are amazing and I think you will love the show anyways.
I hope you'll do more videos on Attack on titan
Oh I'm so excited I want to hear why you have to say about this.😆
Amazing analysis. Hopefully this won't be the last one, since these videos will probably blow up when the last part of AOT drops. I would love to see a video showing Erens change in behaviour throughout the seasons
You need to do the Levi OVA, it´s like his origin story and it´s amaizing to analyze. And personally, it made me respect him more
Wow, love AoT, one of my favorite shows. Looking foward for more AoT related videos.
Have you seen all of attack on titan? If not - do you have a channel where you react to it live? It be super cool to see your live reaction to the episodes and then later see these analyses videos :)
