I came back to the Simulor build and tried it in the Simulacrum (Level 100 units with pause and steel path enabled in Sim settings) against Arid Eviscerators, Anti Moas and Ancient Healers. While I think it's possible to use some form of Gunslinger frame (a frame that primarily buffs the performance of weapons, rather than deals damage directly through abilities) to use the Simulor, a large part of the damage is drawn from arcanes and Lavos' Status Duration that directly scales with his Ability duration. TLDR: Yes, with the right setup, but there are better and far easier setups out there (Phenmor/Laetum/Any Kuva Weapon go brrrr)
@@orionsgear interesting, thank you. would trinity with champions blessing, ash with smoke shadow, or rhino with roar fulfill these gunslinger roles to any significant extent? those are my current frames that can do that, I think.

@@critters-ly9tk Without being too experienced in those specific frames, they all seem to grant a damage boost. So I'd say Yes, it works.
