WFC Kingdom came out in full force!
Beast Wars Transformation Animation
Featuring Kingdom Series Dinobot, Optimus Primal, Cheetor and Rattrap. The backgrounds I rendered myself in Blender. Dinobot vs Optimus Primal for Leader of the Maximals.
Animated using Stop Motion Studio Pro, and edited in iMovie. Finally got my hands on a Dinobot figure!

Dinobot was the best development character in the show. Making his ending all more sad.
Agreed. Blackarachnia is definitely close behind though.
@@jonathanb1987 I also love her as much as Dinobot. they had interesting development. and teh animation itself helped in "Showing" and not "telling"
so much was done with details. Nowadays, there is no premise "show , dont tell", they flat out exposition vomit stuff, so characters are no more interesting if they dont have expressions... and this series was cgi from 1996 and you had so much expressions that said everything.
I am glad i grew up in the 90ts..
@@genomcyber7731 I 100%agree with you. Especially how they were able to have the character be able to say something without them actually needing to say it. The voice actors were very good at understanding how to deliver their lines when seeing those ques.

Don't worry the next live action (Sadly Michael bay is now done making transformers “sniff” “sniff”goodbye dinobots) will have all the beast wars transformers

I recently re-watched the entire show. It’s so underappreciated, he did a killer job.

The backgrounds and color grading are absolutely on point
IMO the color grading could use some tweaking - Dinobot's face ends up looking purple in this.
@@ZeldaTheSwordsman and primals face at times.

Oooh if I had had the time I would have remade this! Glad someone else did. This was very nicely made! I loved that you recreated most of the weird animation goofs (like Dinobot bending his arm backwards), very faithful!

Great job with this! Not many of us use green screening and backgrounds. You seem to have a similar process as I do. I really dig all of the love beastwars is getting lately.
A lot of it could be due to the Rhinox meme, or the fact a new Transformers movie is in the works.

Beast Wars has to be my favorite Transformers series ever, and this scene is the greatest of the first season.

What a great scene! It pulled double duty as a suspenseful fight and characterized Dinobot and Optimus’ integrity and sense of honor. I’ve already seen your full stop motion of Dinobot’s challenge, but I can’t say enough how well you’ve captured the essence of the show!
I enjoyed this more than I should have and Im 27. Watched this when I was 8. Gold.

Even though this whole thing is a reenactment of a scene from an old show, it's still better than that Netflix show. I haven't seen kingdom yet but I already bet this is better.

Not bad for stop motion. Usually it looks so sloppy, & forced, but you did a pretty good job of making it feel like a proper animation. Nice, & fluid instead of rigid, & forced.

From the comments I've seen on the original clip, no. He was damaged in a prior encounter with the Predacons because Rattrap refused to go and save Cheetor while Optimus provided cover fire, and he needed time still for his altmode to repair his mechanical body inside. Likely, the jets weren't operational at the time because of that damage.
