Got a chance to test drive this at PIMS sa WTC and it is a fun vehicle to drive. Really good for newbie drivers ang dali lang i maneho. Good comfort, good space overall. Nissan could have added a lane departure warning system though.

I wonder how the long term maintance regarding the batteries will be considering batteries do degrate from frequent use. Hopefully the savings you'll get from driving an "electric car" will be enough to cover subsequent battery replacements or maintenance. In any case, the technology that comes with these types of vehicles will surely improve in the future!
if nissan batteries are to be compared, it's likely similar to the Nissan Leaf. Batteries on those, based on forums and users, some are still working after 10 years at still 90% battery health. Granted, if the battery does die out, it's a 300 pesos cost. i suggest you create a battery fund, drop a thousand a month into it and forget it. hopefully, by the time a new battery is needed, may savings fund ka na for it.

It will hold the last applied brake pressure until you tap the gas. Very helpful sa city driving and inclines. Iba sya sa Auto Stop ng mazda wherr it turns of the engine until i-gas mo uli. Sa kicks naman it retains full ac and audio kahit nakastop ka sa traffic.

Most of electric motor sa EV has an IP rating ng IP65 to 67. It can withstand submersion not like ICE engine. Kaya kung sakaling mabaha man yang kick ang ICE generator nya ang pwedeng masira not the main electric motor. And ang battery naman ay may auto cutoff safety fuse/breaker for short circuit protection.
Ewan ko lang ah, ginawa kasi ang EV to cut our reliance on oil. Pero since sa gasoline engine din galing ang charge nito apart from the minimal charge na galing sa braking, I think this car defeats the purpose of being an EV. Downside pa is, meron kang battery na nag dedegrade the more you use the vehicle. Yes may 5-year warranty pero paano na pag tapos na yung warranty at need na palitan yung battery? Most of electric motor sa EV has an IP rating ng IP65 to 67. It can withstand submersion not like ICE engine. Kaya kung sakaling mabaha man yang kick ang ICE generator nya ang pwedeng masira not the main electric motor. And ang battery naman ay may auto cutoff safety fuse/breaker for short circuit protection.

Ewan ko lang ah, ginawa kasi ang EV to cut our reliance on oil. Pero since sa gasoline engine din galing ang charge nito apart from the minimal charge na galing sa braking, I think this car defeats the purpose of being an EV.
Downside pa is, meron kang battery na nag dedegrade the more you use the vehicle. Yes may 5-year warranty pero paano na pag tapos na yung warranty at need na palitan yung battery? Sa mga Tesla kasi $20k USD ang presyo ng battery nila. For sure hndi abot sa gnun ang presyo ng battery nito pero malamang sa malamang 6 digits yan na para ka na rin bumili ng isa pang sasakyan.

Maliit lang ang battery hindi tulad sa tesla search mo kaya po after 5 years kung marunong mag ipon makakabili ka rin. Ang isipin jan ay ang pagbaha at ang electric parts niya
As for the oil sir, do you think if established na yung charging network satin di pa rin tayo reliant sa oil? Remember, nag dedepend pa rin tayo sa oil and coal for power generation dito sa pinas. Parang wala din pinagkaiba dito yun. Ang goal lang ng vehicle na to is efficiency.
Dun naman sa battery maintenance, I'm with you dun sa concern mo and I hope Nissan can provide cheap battery replacement for this and lalo na dun sa baha pero ang work around is wag lumusong sa baha kung di naman talaga emergency.

Kaya nga parang napa kamot ulo si Elon Musk nung nakita nya na may mga charging station sa US na diesel engine dn pla galing yung mga charger.
Pero yun nga, hopefully yung battery nito is priced reasonably. Lalo nat mababa ang resell value ng mga Nissan vehicles.
@@ricdonaldesmilla8616 We can assume na Nissan knew beforehand na bahain ang Pinas so most likely, na design nila to with a certain wading depth to secure those sensitive parts, otherwise, it will be a disaster for some.
And about the battery, let's just hope na the battery will last more than 5 years and will not cost an arm and a leg to replace.
@@arvinsheet As you also said sir, even the US can't do that so why expect it on a product that is being sold in a 3rd world can do it. Atleast, it can provide more mileage in a full tank of gas than a traditional ICE setup.
