Your channel is the opposite of all the weird gatekeeping around food and it gives me so much peace.
For tamogoyaki with extra bits like ham and cheese, I use two separate egg mixtures. One with all the bits and one just egg. Cook the mixed version first since that takes longer, then add the plain egg for the outer layer. That holds it all together.
i've been watching you for a long time now and it's so endearing watching your family still 🥺 your daughter is growing up so fast!! it's crazy. my youngest brother is also growing up quickly. it's so bizarre to see them sprout like little trees

Simple meals my aunt fanny, you are an amazing cook! Please don't sell yourself short. You husband is very lucky to have a wife 5hat cooks as well as you. Lots of variety, color and nutrition. You get more done , meal wise, in the morning than most of us all day. Im impressed!

My favorite part of the videos is the family dinner times.
You may want to consider purchasing a splatter shield for frying. It's a flat lid made from wire mesh that you place on top of your frying pan while cooking. It catches the splatters while still allowing steam to escape.
I second this, mine is brilliant I use it all the time! It’s not 100% perfect I find but much better than nothing.
@@songindarkness mine went missing in our last move and I keep forgetting to buy a new one. I sure do miss it when I need it though. It's so much easier to put that in the dishwasher than to clean splattered grease off the entire stove, walls, undersides of cupboards, fumehood and floor. Not to mention my clothes and all those tiny burns on my hands and arms.

The enoki looks scrumptious, what a creative way to make waffle sandwiches. 😍 The roasted pumpkin is so gorgeous I love the colours and frying pumpkin is something I definitely need to try! 'Out of the pan home run' made me laugh. 😂 The garlic butter shrimp looks delicious. Everything looks absolutely incredible I cannot get enough of it! 👌

Also, thank you for your videos. I used to not like cooking, but I think it was because I found it stressful. Then I started watching your videos. They're so relaxing and fun to watch, and seeing you problem-solve and recover from occasional mistakes made it seem like cooking was something it was okay to not be totally perfect at all the time. It made cooking seem less intimidating. I do more cooking now, and it doesn't stress me as much to try new things. I attribute some of that to your inspiration.
This lo-fi version of the Super Mario Odyssey song is awesome! I just recently returned to the US from Japan and fell in love with Washoku cooking and bentos, so watching this has brought back many great memories and inspired me to start making bentos for my children. Thank you for everything you do!

Now that I cook it myself, I love pumpkin of any sort. But I find them to be naturally sweet enough for me, so I do not enjoy them with honey or sugar. I love to cook them with a little curry powder to add more savory flavors. Cooked with butter and curry powder is one of my very favorite methods!

I love autumn for squish season. Butternut squash or pumpkin makes for a lovely soup or pasta sauce. If you add either with onions, garlic, chicken stock, blend and then add garlic and herb cream cheese. It makes a delicious cheap soup or pasta sauce. I made a butternut squash pasta sauce with pumpkin filled pasta and it was so good. I love all your recipes and have tried some of them myself. So thought I’d share one of my own for the autumn season 😊

My family and I have been making salades recently and we discovered that adding Caesar saus to the lettuce really enhances the flavor! I’d recommend to try it out!
