Wildkogel hiking - Wildkogel-Arena Bramberg & Neukirchen - 08/2023 | Pinzgau and Beyond

Very scenic and relatively easy hiking route starting from mountain station of Smaragdbahn in Bramberg. Then continuing to the Wildkogel (2224m), all the while having views to Salzachtal valley as well as the Hohe Tauern mountains and its peaks - including direct sight to the Großvenediger (3657m).
After the top of Wildkogel the panorama route continues slightly downhill along the main ridge, with views to the Großer Rettenstein (2366m) and overall surrounding Kitzbüheler Alps.
At Geisl-Hochalm restaurant the route turns and leads back to starting point.
Highly recommended hiking route with wonderful views!
