In similar style of the earlier video on Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, a specific scene in Ceylan's Three Monkeys is selected to showcase the dramatic effectiveness as supported by its aesthetic presentation, showcasing the photographic form and artistic background behind it.
A foray into landscape painting through the eyes of Dutch artists from the Golden Age and Caspar David Friedrich's longing pictures is effected, in an attempt to trace Three Monkeys and therefore Ceylan's pictorial awareness.
