The game looks great! I'll definitely play it when it comes out. A bit of a warning though, since the name on steam is Noreya now, when i searched "Noseka" I couldn't find it, changing the video's name or having a pinned comment explaining would help future people find it.
Well, the link in the description is the Good one but I changed the title so it should be more clear.
Also, how can you not find it by typing Noseka in google ? I just tried in a private mode and the Steam link is good.
But yeah this name story is a headache for us, it has been Noreya from start, just been trolled.

Damn the game looks amazing the art style the music really fits the atmosphere. only thing i noticed is Character movement which need some adjustments overalls its a solid Metroidvania that take inspiration from other games & blend together to make something beautiful and amazing!

this looks awesome! the art is beautiful and the gameplay looks fun and engaging. my only critique just from the trailer is to maybe not make the whole screen flash white when you attack? or have a setting to turn that off? kind of nitpicky but i can see that being an eyesore after a while, at least for me
other than that this is seriously such a standout game in the world of small indie games :) keep it up!
You can turn it off, many options are available, and we add more each time someone ask us if it's easy to do :)

Music sounds great
Thank you, music are made by the Awesome duo Sarys / Xavier Dang. Both are incredible artists.
The game looks good , but I think that main character and some enemies or bosses need more shades , so character's cloak , head etc won't look monochrome .
It is an old version! We since then reworked a lot of biomes and shaders/VFX which change the final rendering.
But yeah I see your point. Tho, adding to many shades/variations on such design would be hard to keep it readable in game.
While it is not all gone, it seems a lot of creativity has left AAA games for the indie scene

Coming to Switch yes.
Team was about 10 people, with turn-over and fluctuations, but more or less 10.

huhu i do struggle with these type of games but damn they are so fun to play...like Blasphemous and Hollow Knight!
I completely understand the feeling, this is why we made it very accessible with an easy mode and not "soul Like" (respawn at the beginning of the Map).
Hard mode however is... Hard 🫣

Near a wall on the wooden-like platforms, if you sneak, jump, and walk on the wal you can pass trought these platforms

Well, Steam doesn't let us use the name despite our lawyer messages and proof we can. Marketing a game is terribly hard and for now having 2 names is not clear for the people who discover the project.
For now we move with Noseka, until the court take action (if they do) and we can force Steam to change back the name.
Until then, we cannot use it on Steam.
@@DreamirlGames that's lame man, if it's any consolidation i'll buy your game on full release! I think it looks sick regardless of the name. Also it does make sense to have one name for marketing purposes

@@JuhoSprite we posted on Twitter about that, someone attacked us on the name "Noreya". It is not legitimate but Steam doesn't care and forced us to change. So we change everywhere because having 2 names at the same time si complicated.
Are you also going to release it on android?
It is not yet decided ! I must first make a good playable controller in order to think about it.
But yeah, I don't say no!
@DreamirlGames ye well it's up to u I'd play it on android, I personally prefer buying side scrollers on mobile even tho I have 2 consoles but I don't mind rlly I'm just waiting for the release.

@@milkman9423 we are quite opposed to Blasphemous in term of accessibility, but we have some hard boss already (and we have a difficulty mode if you want to play the game in a "soul-like" way) :)

Yes long story, name was Noreya before, we got troubles, changed to Noseka temporarily, back to Noreya.

This ones performs better on YT algo, no idea why.

Hey, I'm surprised to not know those thousands of indie games because we've made a game along our desire and difference.
However I do love metroidvanias (most of them !), would be a pleasure if you could link those "similar games" so maybe I discover new games and enjoy my time playing them ^-^ (when you are a creator, any potential inspiration is welcome).

@@joesenpai2347 some people just hate PixelArt because it "looks like" cheaper/old (I think those are the 2 most common reasons), or they just don't like it :)
Got a lot of negative comments on some other places about the fact "it is pixel-art" arguing "how original" lol, like if non pixel-art was more original.
Anyway, we have people enjoying the game for what it is and that is cool.

@@joesenpai2347I mean you're not wrong, pixel art is old as dirt and the market is completely saturated with them, however a game can still be good despite being yet another pixel art game in an extremely long list of pixel art games. You mentioned a good example with Blasphemous, but you also can't deny the beauty, challenge, and overwhelming success of games that choose to evolve and rise to new heights with the times like Metroid Dread, Hollow Knight, and Ori. I'm sure there will always be a niche for pixel art games, but if you want break new ground and stand out you have to rise above that. Right now this game looks good, but if wasn't so pixelated it could look exponentially better. I could be wrong though, my opinions are very stupid 😂😊.

I am sorry but lack of translation is not racism.
We tried to translate it into Turkish and the translation is not so good. We use AI to translate because indies cannot afford a such budget (most of indies are english only), and arabic is very badly translated by AIs from what a friend told me (maybe you know one that works well ??).
Also we open our translation files to the community which can bring translation and fixes, so if we had any arabic player asking for a translation like a Chinese player did a afew weeks ago.,
You can join us if you are willing to help, we are more than open for any community from all around the world.
But please do not attack indies who are the first victims of the video game industry.

@@Rayu25Demon I don't say all are because I know a few are doing it. But adding a language cost a lot of money, and 90% of the time you don't get your money back because of the poor sales difference that language addition make.
In our case we use AI to translate, and won't add it if it's to bad.
Also, a lot of indies still only have english. All Asia is not calling out for racism...
