I met jellyroll at a girls house he was dating when he started to transition from rapper to writing country songs. He told me he was starting to focus more on songwriting and publishing and been charting ever since. The way Jelly feels about almost home is how I feel about Jelly's music. He is the only musician that speaks to my soul and I was blessed to see him at Darian Lake 2023. I have a painful, rare condition and his music gets me through the worst of it.

I grew up listening to Jellyroll when he was still mostly rap because my older cousins would Iisten to his music but, to come back to his music out of curiosity as an adult and find this is amazing and I love his music even more because throughout my teenage years I went through a lot of the things he’s went through in the drugs and getting arrested aspects of life so as a young adult hearing his healing process and his pain through his music helps me heal from all the past bullshit I put myself and everybody around me through.
I don't have a CLUE who this man is ... but after watching this video, I'm going to sit here with a coffe and a smoke and find EVERY song that man has put out and listen to it ... something tells me I'm going to be intertained.

The only thing I can say about jelly and I know he’s working on it already, bringing a nutritionist on tour with him and everything else but I sincerely hope he’s able to get his weight under control because I need another twenty or thirty years of his music and his interviews and him in general in my life. I hope that on his path to mental recovery and changing who he is as a person to be someone he is proud to be and someone he believes his kids and grandkids can be proud of somewhere along the way he gets to the step where it’s time to take care of his physical health. Nothing but love for jelly and can’t wait to see where his journey takes him!
