I can't believe he lost. His performance was phenomenal. He honestly looks quite sad at losing too so my heart is weeping for him. I think the only reason he lost was because his voice is very unique and thus easily recognizable.
He didnt loss because he sang bad or anything...he lost because it was obvious it was him. He has a unique voice so the judges recognized him.

Lee Honggi is a treasure. His voice is one you recognize from the first note he articulates. It's special and beautiful. He's beautiful inside out, I love him.
와 이홍기 진짜 운 없네... 역대급 무대를 보여줬는데도 처음 나왔을 때는 목소리 들켜서 1라운드 떨어지고 다시 나왔을 때는 하필 상대가 배인혁... 현진영이랑 KCM도 3번 나왔던데 이홍기도 딱 한번 만 더 나와서 가왕 됐으면 좋겠다...
After watching the show I get why he is so sad... He wanted to see how far he could go if he wasn't famous and he was starting now and he lost so obviously he must be doubting himself and this happens... I hope it was just a momentary thing and not something he really feels because no matter what he is fantastic and he has a long road ahead of him... He is amazing.
They already know its hongki from the start thats why he didnt last long

Hongki's talent was too mcuh for the show to handle so he didn't win. Seriously, people can sometimes not take in all of Hongki's heaven made voice. It's ok Hongki, you deserved to win. ( I know I'm like 2 years late but I just wanted to comment.)

This reminds me of a chinese singer Zhou Shen 周深 who lost in one of the season in China's The Voice. He didn't make it to the top 4 nor did he even make it pass the 2nd/3rd stage but his talent and voice is recognized by everyone and is now pretty famous in China having a lot of supporters and fans ^^ and his own solo concert, and was asked to sing for a few feature films in China 👍.
