JR is one of the most under rated acts out there. their music is always so cinematic. you can put your own little action scenes together..even w/out a vid. ALL their albums rock.
dont get me wrong it is great, for me perhaps sometimes too demanding, or too sophisticated. but i love it anyways, Pistolero is amazing for example, conga fury is one of those wilder manifestations. I love the matrix soundtrack Navras. Best thing about JR is they are true to themself and not afraid of experimenting. And result of that experiment usually blows our mind :)
@@Crawfisher top rated in our book. I'm just saying I don't think they ever got the credit they deserve. Maybe it's just cuz I live in Alabama and I'm one of the very few here who knows about them. 😄

Ahhh. Those hairpin turns at 100+ km/h, that 200 foot drop off a waterfall, boulders whizzing by your bike, sharpened to lethality by eons of searing desert winds, and sandblasted tunnels. One of my favorite tracks in the Jet Moto series. Devil's Canyon was easy to learn, and a nightmare to master, doing anything possible, finding crazy paths and pulling insane stunts just to get a few milliseconds faster than that hellishly perfect A.I. on Master difficulty. Good times. Good times indeed.
I work night shift. There with 2 other people. We can do pretty much what we want so long as the job gets this done. Sometimes I put this one on the PA system and blast it throughout the empty building.
In my personal opinion, both this track and "Zwara" are perfect demonstrations of what makes Juno Reactor such an amazing band. Their unique and masterful blend of electronic sounds with various global styles, packed together in a deleriously fast-paced rythm, is something which no one with a pulse can help but respond to.

Adam West's Batman brought me here. "I hate robbing banks" is sampled from Season 1 Episode 17, True or False Face. I was just watching it, and when I heard it I almost had a nose bleed.
the way the single action fire leads into the machine gun leads into the snare roll into the beat is fucking genius.. one of the best EDM opens of all time.
Steve Stevens Is a great guitar player. Everything from Flamingo to Metal he's got it covered. I had never heard of Juno Reactor until I saw he had done this song with them And its another example of his flexibility and I have found a interesting new group to check out on top of it all (new to me I'm sure they've been around a long while).
I'm a bit late with my response but... Juno Reactor basically created the Goa genre. They are to some significant degree responsible for Goa techno/trance having the kind of sophistication it had in the 90s, as they were always one step ahead of the genre and pioneering something brand new for it.
That why I love the comments, you get to read and learn amazing things. I was far from even imagining that Steve Stevens whose work I admire (Billy Idol) could be the player of this track. Now that make great sense. ! Good trance track, nice virtuose guitar track, Steve Stevens playing it...kind of everything fall nicely in place !
I didn’t know anything about this song. Just saw on IMDB trivia about Batman episode “Zelda the Great” the phrase “I hate robbing banks “was sampled by Juno reactor for Pistolero. Great song kinda funny how I discovered it.
If you dig his flamengo chops etc you should check out a supergroup he takes part in, Bozzio-Levin-Stevens. Their album "Situation dangerous" is... the world.
I hate to be "this guy", but it's Flamenco. Not Flamengo. That being said, he is an excellent Flamenco guitarist. I'm glad other people appreciate this complex and intense style of playing!

+Nanoco1000 if you wanted to know what genre for mixing purposes, the skeletal frame of this song is trance. Trance speed, trance pounding kick, trancey bass, and even a trance gate on parts of the vocals. Even though it has all of these parts, it doesnt really sound like most trance. the guitar part is taken from a movie i believe.
According to what I've read the band is led by Ben Watkins -- former lead singer of The Hitmen ("Bates Motel" 1980's) and The Flowerpot Men. This new music and band is extraordinary stuff.
+Ghost Three-One obviously a demonic abomination of Tzeecth. hopefully that rifle head hand won't be much useful since...ya know...one handed rifling is not too efficient
