read his book, had the pleasure of hearing him speak, bought a copy of his book and got him to autograph it, got my picture taken with him. hugged and thanked him for what he did!
sadly 1968 to 2016 not much has changed. today i am grateful to Colin Kaepernick and others.
Just shows how history is repeating itself when even modern day protests are still met with such shock & hatred all for standing up for what they believe.
What an inspiration I receive it in Jesus name
God bless you brother
My great uncle was protesting at those Olympics in a student led protest that were protesting free college for Mexico's poor the police showed and broke it up they killed many of the students and he spent four years in jail for participating .
These Three brothers Carlos and my man Smith and Poor Poor Peter Norman 💔😢
I love him.
Forever a hero.
The music and production style doesn't AT ALL match the type of video. The happy poppy song or mood, feels almost like you're belittling the topic and might of these men. Also should have mentioned the Australian athlete who stood with them and in fact gave them the gloves, he passed away recently and suffered in Australia for his brave stance

✊🏽
Nothing has changed since then based on what he was protesting

Je comprends rien et on a des devoirs à faire la dessus je suis sur que c’est hyper interessant ! Si seulement je parlais anglais :( to bad
tu peux mettre les sous titres traduits automatiquement, même s'y il y aura des fautes tu comprendras mieux
Just remember everyone it's about humanity, not colour.
protesting against there countrie but they did not protest against there countrie when they sign millionaire checks
What millions and what checks? Athletes back then lived in poverty because it was illegal to accept money from competition. Carlos went through very tough times for years after the 68 Olympics, Smith became a teacher and collegiate coach.
