    Love the video! Excited to use this new light and darkness dragon, but, since it’s so self-contained, you probably still could gimmick puppet lock with cartesia if you have an extra fusion summon😅

      Probably, which would probably make the deck even more powerful, there probably is a way to make both and THAT would be insane. But I'm too much against that card 😅 to make this video i spent a lot of time searching for complete matches because as soon as people saw any Branded/Despia card they just quit or stalled the timer because they thought i was gonna puppet lock them. If i were to participate into a tournament I'd probably use it, but if i can avoid it i will.

      @kenkami987 in all honesty, I'm thinking of cutting puppet put of my deck anyway as it's just gotten boring for me. Like don't get me wrong, puppet is good, but it just becomes the same process over and over.
      That's why I'm taking the puppet out and trying something different, like either a second Saironir (think I butchered that), a third shrouded dragon. I'll see what I can do

    if you have Rindbrumm on the field you can negate Dragonlord and it wont negate your effects.

    • @kenkami987
      @kenkami987  Před 28 dny

      True, but it would be once per turn so it's a very strategic niche to which you're willing to use an extra negate to allow yourself to do stuff, it's definitely possible as an endboard to have, but it's probably better to learn how to control the Dragonlord and save Rindbrumm for after you used all negations, it would be a bounce to negate yourself, but you can also use it to bounce your own Dragonlord to summon it again later and you can then run 1 copy to recycle. It has space tho for a timing you may need during the turn so i don't say no to that, it's definitely an interesting scenario worth exploring, maybe if you wanna activate a Bystial Effect like Druidswurm to banish something that may become annoying later in the turn and stopping your own Dragonlord is worth the sacrifice 🤔

  • @shaman8375
    @shaman8375 Před 2 měsíci

    Makes sense for you to play branded lost. You seem to always make Bystial lubellion, and you can search merc when you fusion summon for en extra negate. And if you have Cartesia, search albaz, fusion into lubellion (it’s a dark attribute also), shuffle back a light and a dark dragon for a second light and dark dragon lord for extra 3 negates.

    This dragon is sooooooo getting hit with the ban hammer in the tcg when they realize how powerful is in the Branded Despia deck.

    • @kenkami987
      @kenkami987  Před měsícem

      Doesn't even need to be in Branded, this guy is probably gonna get into whatever is the successor of Dragon Link mow that the Deck basically doesn't exist, and some people are already thinking about it, including me if Branded gets it too hard in the banlist that still doesn't come out 😨

    Whelp...if Branded Despia loses Albion the Sanctifire Dragon to the ban list, looks like this will be taking it's fusion slot instead! LOL

      @@streiya I've even seen it at 24€ (26$) so yeah is definitely going down as right now, and it may be the best time actually because it's before people figure out how to make it a Meta Threat if ever gets to like Snake Eyes level and gets to the Fiendsmith prices

    • @streiya
      @streiya Před měsícem

      @kenkami987 $26 USD?! I haven't seen it that low... would been insta buy for me at that price. So far watching Day 1 of NAWCQ and it's dominated by Snake-eyes and Fiendsmith variants. Showcased Branded decks don't even show using the newer cards like Astellar of the White Forest or Light Darkness Dragonlord. Hoping the prices for them go down and not up after this event lol.

    • @kenkami987
      @kenkami987  Před měsícem

      @@streiya they probably didn't get them in time, this is why you don't make big tournaments so close to such a big release, not everyone has time or money to get the new cards this fast. But yeah less than 30, if people don't pick up the peace in the near future it's going lower

  • @unamusedrowlett6303

    Would it be possible or even worth running the new main deck light/darkness dragon cards or is the dragon lock too clunky?

    • @kenkami987
      @kenkami987  Před 2 měsíci

      I thought about it, nah, too many garnets, i tried, but at that point may as well make an entirely different deck that works smoothly

    • @streiya
      @streiya Před měsícem

      There's really no point or need to run the others in the main deck as they're not needed and summoning Light and Darkness Dragonlord is pretty much just that EXTRA SPICE you'd want to get onto the field but not necessarily a requirement for wins.
