My xmaxx 8s broke the spur gear in 30 seconds of asphalt running and the pinion after 5 minutes the the second lot of charged batteries after 5 mins the servo shit itself. For a big heavy truck to use plastic geared servo? Are they nuts? I've never in my 35 years in the hobby have I ever had to spend so much money on one truck in such a short amount of time like I have had to with traxxas. And they're response "to change these parts would not benift our bottom line in regards to replacement parts or upgrade parts' " you the customer will make us a profit and we will be able to bring you more models" "After all wrenching is part of the hobby" Tamiya is just as bad. Their plastic has been shit doe years and they refuse to make it better. So ice cashed out, ID rather put my money into investing and my rental properties and my full size collectable cars. Time to give up playing with toy cars cause in reality that's what they are
I feel sorry for you lol. I have many RCs and traxxas is always the brand that I need parts for after a bash. My Arrma products go right back on the shelf ready for the next session.

Be careful, applying throttle with the wheels in the air like that causes ballooning which on those drag tires can cause a break in the internal belts of the tires
