Un altro capolavoro poco conosciuto. Sotto le mentite spoglie del classicismo viennese si sentono tutte le caratteristiche della musica del Beethoven più conosciuto e amato. L'Adagio è una delle più belle pagine scritte per Corno. L'organico è "golosissimo".

初期の管楽器作品は実に活き活きして魅力的。この曲も傑作ですね。ベートーヴェンの才能と特性がよく現れていて大好きです。
