I bought this. Used it several times for washing the bike and maintenance. Have a 27kg ebike. Genuinely no probs with it. Thought it was a great wee buy. £25. Happy days.
The clamp has a channel on the bottom and the top of the jaw so you can route the cables there. Not sure whether the bike you have was tilted, but I had no issues spinning pedals. Handlebar stabilizer rod I have did not have any rust. Replacing the ties with velcro tape is a trivial mod if you prefer it. The only serious issue are plastic parts, so make sure you are not overtigtening any bolts that are used with plastic clamps.
Cheers mate, l want to get a stand to make chain cleaning easier with a fluid scrubber. Looks like it won't let you have the chain horizontal and be able to rotate the crank.. l had never thought of that. Think you have saved me some money.

Piece of junk, better to just turn your bike upside for trail side maintenance. Made a better and sturdy bike stand out of 2x4s for at home fixing.
