Ok so I love KANA-BOON but I don’t get to mention it a lot because I get the chance to don’t sing their songs a lot. In fact, I was gonna cover the opening to Subete Ga F Ni Naru first but I kinda figured no one but me watched that anime. Honestly, I listen to them all the time so I just kinda jumped at the chance to do it this time around. Plus, Boruto kinda captures what I like about Naruto in the first place before the series took itself too seriously and I think it’s fun to watch (even if that makes me trash). Truly I just wanna see Sasuke try to be an edgy dad who tries to forget his Hot Topic days lmao.

Ok so i first heard this anime was coming a little after i read the manga. On that day i was like "THANK GOD MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!" I heard the opening and i had a smile on my face that whole day. I see this notification and 5 seconds into it i think "my life is complete" and im sitting upstairs in my room crying tears of joy. Oh, Juby you genius you. Always knowing how to make your fans day 💖

Glad you did that chorus justice, it could’ve been a miss with how catchy it is. Loved it. When the lyrics are translated, the emotional impact of the song hits. I perceive it as moving on from grief. As for “the flowers around blooming in tears and sun rays” - we still have plants we’re taking care of from a funeral a year ago, point is people get flowers at funerals a lot. Then comes a new chapter that you excruciatingly have to, but don’t want to move onto. The future is painful when you have to grieve or that’s how you feel anyway, but it has to happen and you have to move on. People develop and change - there’s a tragic grace to it almost...

Have any of you actually thought about Boruto's situation and why he acts the way he does?
First, look at Naruto. We all know him as the orphan that grew up without knowing the love of a parent for a majority of his childhood, only getting a substitute in the form of Iruka by the time he was in the academy. Many orphans grow up to be very attentive and loving parents as to ensure their children don't feel unloved like they did. Based on what we see of the Uzumaki family before Naruto became hokage in "The Last" and the multiple pictures in the household, they were extremely close and Naruto definitely gave his kids loads of love and attention. When Naruto became hokage, his free time was cut down drastically to the point of being nearly nonexistent. And before you say he should just use a ton of shadow clones to do all the work, there are two problems with that. Firstly, while Naruto can definitely create enough clones to cover everything, the feedback of all their exhaustion could be dangerous when they all eventually disperse. Having only s few clones do a few jobs at a steady rate is by far the safer option. Secondly, he has a great amount of respect for the job and wouldn't leave a clone, aka a fake, in the hokage's office to do his work for him. This also plays into Japanese culture, in which men are expected to devote themselves to their jobs to such an extreme that time with family and other relationships outside of work is neglected. Some men don't even bother finding relationships because of this. Given Naruto's obligations to his job, it is no surprise that his family time is cut short.
Now, look at Boruto. He has had his father's undivided attention for a majority of his life. At the same time, the world is in an era of peace were sacrifices are not as necessary for survival as they once were. He is also naturally gifted, so the concept of hard work is also foreign to him. As a result, Boruto has little understanding the of the value of hard work and sacrifices. When Naruto became hokage, Boruto was suddenly forced to sacrifice time with his father so he could work hard to keep the village safe. He went from having Naruto's undivided attention to having only a small fraction of it. He doesn't act like a brat because he wants to, he acts like a brat because he is confused and is desperate for his father's attention again. This is no clearer that in his line from the movie, "Why does my dad have to be the hokage? All he does is sit around and act bossy! Anyone can do that!" In reality, he is saying, "Why does dad have to sacrifice time with us to be hokage? All he does is sit around and act bossy! That's not very hard!" All of these issues of course are resolved by the end of the movie when he comes to understand that value of hard work(from seeing what his hard trained Rasengan can do that the Kote could not) and sacrifices (from nearly losing his dad when Naruto sacrificed himself for him).
Notice how he only acts like a brat to Naruto. To everyone else, he is genuinely kind unless they did something to cross him or his friends. Boruto's behavior has reason behind it and is not just to make annoying. His negative traits are an important part of his growth as a character. A perfect character has no room to grow. If could all just look past his negative trait you would see that. What good is a character that can't be developed?
The point is, Boruto has his reasons and they are very understandable when put into perspective. He is meant to be just like Naruto but at the same time unlike him. So please, try to understand his situation before you go hating on him. Or don't, it's not like anyone ever listens to the guys that act logical in the internet.
