this vid made me laugh, i fished against the Vandam's. back in the day on the grand river. everyone said they were fishing for second place i met Kevin at Earl Greens bait shop at m43, 66, and 50 corner before he went pro .his picture is still on the wall there ..thanks Kevin ! been a follower every since. Thanks for the memories, you definitely changed the way i fish for sure. You earned the title the GOAT, there may never be another KVD, especially since FFS. Trail blazers like yourself had to figure it out, based on years of hard work and understanding bass to the best of your abilities. There is an old saying " rather be lucky than good". That saying was presented to me in shotgun shooting once. There is no doubt luck can happen in fishing, but doubtful luck earned all your accolades. You will be missed in terms of circuits but never forgotten. Enjoy retirement sir.
As a competitor I want him in everything I fish in hell that's how you get better you fish against the best just 29 wins alone is mind blowing not counting AOY and classics ..that AOY to me is the hardest to get that means everywhere they go you done really well or won you know how hard that is to do ??
