    Awesome build, looks mean!!! I have a thing for quill stems and higher handlebars but that’s just me. Super cool part selection and silver was a great choice. Subscribed!

    Great job, hope to build a similar bike me too. I’m a novice to the bike world and i noticed that you use two different grease, could you explain to me why and which types are they? Thanks

    • @bottoncino_bicycles
      @bottoncino_bicycles  Před měsícem +2

      Hey, thank you! Sure: One grease is used as an anti-seize, so it basically prevents two metals from rusting onto each other. The other is a lubricant that reduces friction and ensures that bearings run smoothly

    Beautiful build! What model is that ahead stem adaptor?

      Thank you! It is made by PRO. If you are located in the EU, you can order it through us, if you cannot find it elsewhere.

    Georgeous groupset, why have you switched to copper antisieze instead of the regular grease?

    • @bottoncino_bicycles
      @bottoncino_bicycles  Před měsícem +1

      Agreed! Been using that for a while actually. Just looked so rusty in that shot that I thought I'd point it out

      @@bottoncino_bicycles is there a reason why you prefer copper grease? Lot of rain?

    • @bottoncino_bicycles
      @bottoncino_bicycles  Před měsícem +2

      The Copper Compound has a very nice consistency and is easy to apply

    What was that spacer you used with that quill stem adapter to fit the stem? I have an old Gary Fisher bike with a wider than usual stem and I’m looking for something like that so I can use a different stem set up. Thanks in advance! 3:49

      It's a pretty nifty quil stem adapter that is at its core 1" to 1", but comes with additional shims to fit a 1 1/8" fork or stem. Are you located in the EU? If so, you could purchase it through our shop

    Petit tips pour le capot de potence qui fait un peu cheap sur un velo aussi bien fini, moi j'ai percé un capot de potence aheadset un peu plus gros et avec une vis plus grande on peut visser l'adaptateur 1" comme un aheadset ;)

    14:10 I am pretty sure you put the headset bearings in the wrong way. The balls should ride in the cup and the cone rides on the balls past the cage.

    • @bottoncino_bicycles
      @bottoncino_bicycles  Před měsícem

      Don't worry, they're in the right side up and the headset runs smooth
