Shillings - how to tell English from Scottish

    A couple of people have asked me to do a video explaining the differences between the George VI and Elizabeth II English & Scottish one shilling coins, from 1937 to 1966. I'll cover the main differences so you know what to look for if you decide to collect the old pre-decimal coins.

    You can also tell them apart from the latin around the coin. The English one translates to "Three Lions on a Shirt" and the Scottish one translates to " Scotland 1 Germany 5"

      I did my best not to mention the kicking they got..... A meme I saw early said that if Germany hadn't scored those 5 goals, Scotland would have won 🤣 Cheers.
