Joel Embiid added 34 points and 13 rebounds for the 76ers in the victory, while Jayson Tatum tallied 24 points, 6 assists, 4 blocks and a career-high 18 rebounds for the Celtics. This best-of-seven series is now tied, 2-2, with Game 5 taking place on Tuesday, May 9 (7:30 p.m. ET, TNT).

It was an insane thing how Harden and Embiid charged on their backs the attacks from Sixers to get this victory full of suspense 'till the end.
Harden for the 2nd time in this serie came up big when PHI needed it the most. 42pts 8RBS 9Assists 🔥. He's going to have to do this more consistently for this team to win this series.
I have no great love for Harden but, sometimes, he can be a very entertaining player (annnnnnd also one of the best closers in the game).

Boston needs to get their offense going around 5 seconds earlier than what they did on that last possession. If you leave Philly 8 seconds to work with you live with it, if it’s a tie game that’s different but give yourself a chance at a rebound putback or the chance to foul and get another possession when your down.
Yea, that last possession was a failure by the whole Boston coaching staff. Looked like they still had two time outs to work with, why not use one and set something up. Boston still got a good look, but like you said took too long and it cost them.

People love to say Harden can’t (or won’t) play D. Check out 1:20. He forced a loose ball, dove on the court, and got it to a teammate. Do his close outs leave a bit to be desired? Sure but he can give you effort.

@@redman6790 I am a fan of Philly and as happy as I can be for the win, I can tell you that I would feel much safer in the shoes of a Boston fan. To me, the Celtics seem decidedly superior and are heavily favored, they have better players and a fluid game.
I saw this live and although I was disappointed by the result, it was still an incredible game and didn’t shake my confidence in the C’s ability to eventually close out the 76ers.

If you watch a movie trailer would you want to see the final plot twist revealed first? Didn't think so

MVP Embiid has to become a monster in Game 5 or it's over for them. Maxxey needs to step on the gas too. They can't slow down the pace because that's when Boston strikes hard.

sometimes you just let them play rather than risk an inbound violation specially with that much time remaining. most only call timeout for a play if there's like 5secs or less remaining

@@Eythora94 it depends to the coach wether if he wants to call for a timeout or not, you're right sometimes you just let them play and trying to avoid inbound violations, though there are some coaches that instead of letting their players to make their own play they want to make sure that they call for a timeout to make it clear to the team that here's the play that we are gonna do, reminding their boys tha we only have this time, making sure that the ball will be inbound successfully, in basketball or any sports it happens even veteran coaches sometimes they make wrong decisions but a good coach will stand on his feet no matter what

To me Boston is the best team in this year playoffs and we are looking at them eyes to eyes. So, the winner of this series can easily be the NBA Champions.
a lot depends on the health of Embid, he looked hurt and tired here. Philly have to find a way to have Harden free to shoot but not pressured to shoot like in Houston where he has to score min 36 or they lose.
