Silent Origami Tutorial: Triangular Pyramid

Paper used in this video: A5 rectangle of kami (14.8 cm x 21.0 cm; 5.83 in x 8.25 in)
Finished model: pyramid with a base length of 10.5 cm (4 1/8 in)
This video shows how to fold a simple, triangular pyramid. You can use normal printer paper for this, for example A4 or US letter.

Using a rectangle gives you extra paper for a pocket, so that you can slide the last side of the pyramid into it for a nicely locked model. If you use a square, you won't have that pocket.

Yes, definitely. Note that if you use very large paper, go for something thicker, so that the model stands stably.
