I played this long tune real loud on a packed Denver city bus once in the the early eighties, the driver kept turning back and screaming to turn it down, but he couldn't tell who had the radio so I just kept turning around with everyone else to see where it was coming from. I let it roll all the way to the end then shut it off, it was like ten minutes, lol. No-one else complained, just the driver

Thanks for this show and tribute and upload. 45 years I've been listening to Tommy and never will ever get tired of listening to his genius. Clapton yawn, Page clumsy, etc. BUT#1 Tommy, Jimi, Jeff Beck, Dickey Betts, David Gilmour are timeless souls. They just don't play scales and notes.

Very nice! Thankyou for posting! I had 'Standing in the Rain' running in my head for a week b4 I went on CZcams, and what do you know? There it was! I think about how young he was---so much talent gone. Thank God he played as much as he did, & left us some gripping music. It's like it takes you by the shoulders, and shakes you, until you HAVE to feel the intensity! I had a chance to see him @ MileHi stadium, it was summer '76. It was awful- he was so wasted, a man brought him to the mike, and he hung onto it just to stand, for a very short set. As a person in recovery, I look back upon those days with gratitude that more of us didn't die. Rest in Peace, Tommy. You gave to the world your best✨🎶💫🏞
