- As I finished my study through the book of Kings I found it fascinating how the kings that did "what was right in eyes of the LORD" practiced a highly detectable boldness and confidence in their assignment. Almost as if they knew exactly what to do at every turn of the way.
I started analyzing my life for this same boldness and confidence and realized i struggle with balancing being a servant of God and being a child of God.
I hope this video provides some clarity on the same conflicting question I battled with throughout my study in the book of Kings.

Glory to God. I'll be honest bro that performance anxiety is nooo jokkeee 😤 This encourages me to drop a video on shame and the sacrifice of Jesus. It's so essential to us being able to live as humans. Knowing that more often than not we're standing in our own way rather than God being disappointed and holding us back. There's a quote that really encouraged me during that stage and I pray it touches you too. "Satan doesn't win when our flesh fails, he wins when our Faith fails." So no matter what we are going to sin, but NEVER let your faith down. That's what matters

Glory to God. This is exactly what i needed to move past this slave mentality; I thought my eyes were open but I've really been daydreaming. God bless your ministry brother, you'll help save many.
What helped me is putting it in perspective that God isn’t watching us and waiting for us to fail, he’s watching us to catch us when we fall. Think of Him as a father, if a child makes a mistake or messes up the Father wouldn’t up and leave, they’d hold their child’s hand, and tell them to try again. True love does not leave when things are hard or if we fail or mess up, true love is forgiving and kind. It’s gentle and faithful, If God is love, how much more will He love us?
As a brother in Christ I want to use my words graciously, Paul in Galatians 4:1-7 is really talking about being set free from a slave to our sin and now being adopted into the family of God as a son of God, not talking about servant mind of being approved by God and waiting to see if he’s happy with what we are doing. Again not trying to be rude but truthfully to the text. Now as far as perfection, no body is but we be working out our salvation with fear and trembling like Paul says in Philippians 2:12 (our salvation is given to us by grace and our works show our salvation not earn us our salvation). In the end I think we are to be sons of God and slaves of God and slaves in the sense of whatever he says goes and sons because our Father truly loves us. There are plenty of times where Paul calls himself a bond servant (slave) of Christ. I mean this comment with all love brother.
Respect! Listening back to myself I definitely could have explained it better on my end. I appreciate the clarification and point of view and I pray I did not lead anyone astray from this video. We 100% are slaves to righteousness and we belong to Christ. I do not deny that. Blessings!

I saw online that Philippians 2:12 is misunderstood sometimes, but means that we work out our salvation with fear and trembling by recognizing how good and gracious God has been to us, they gave this verse as an example, “Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.” Jeremiah 33:9
I've had a lot of times in my life where I haven't known what the path is, but I've known the right thing to do was to take a step of faith, based on seeking counsel from spiritual leaders and thinking about it with the brain and wisdom God gave me, and that He will be with me through the right and wrong decisions, and use the mistakes and failures to teach me.

i've also watched a video on tiktok with similar verse that you used (Galatians 4:1-7) but with different explanation.
it talked about it doesn't matter if you are unfortunate with your life in this world (thinking that why you are poor but some children are already rich even before they are born) and he explained that verse as it doesn't matter what status you have in this world, for you are a child of child, you are already an heir of His kingdom.
it's just great hearing different takes of the same verse and i think it only falls into one conclusion, the faith that you have right now may grow or shrink, that is enough for Him to announce you as Hus child, His heir of the kingdom and of eternal life. it's so beautiful. thank you for this video, brother! i pray that you'll reach more people and i also pray to myself to be like you and other Christian fellows (that makes videos to help our fellows be clarified and help them with their relationship with our Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit)
