Seth’s making it sound like the Static pair dropped last month lmao. Them dropping a similar looking pair 2 years apart is ok, when it’s not is when they do it with the 350V2 back to back every month 💀💀
Clearly its still not a problem, since they alll almost always sell out. And kanye said he wants everyone that wants a pair be able to get one. So if people already have a similar colorway, then just pass and let the others that didnt get the other similar colorway get these.
Plus statics were extremely limited, I've only ever seen them in person once at that was Roszko wearing them at u7!

Yeah for all those that have a problem with them, dont fucking buy them, and let the people that actually like them cop them.
Because AJ1 silhouette is iconic and is just so much better. Whereas yeezy 700 is just a basic shoe. Look at the nitejoggers that Adidas launched, they are so much better and innovative than this fucking yeezy 700. Yet they have no resale value whatsoever. Yeezy are overrated and thankfully now people are realising it.

@@CASTRO45ACP to be honest, if you don’t think the whole 700 v1 and v2 line is “old man” then you don’t really know those styles. I don’t pretend to know Ye’s intention but it def appears that the style of the shoe regardless of colorway is intended to have the chunky old man look
@@nathancarzon1401 Speaking more about the colorway than the silhouette, there's also a difference between the dad shoe and this colorway making them look like an old geezer should be wearing them, just whack as hell imo.
The review makes the sneaker underwhelming but it's one of the best looking yeezys in a while.

@@josendrado Most yeezys nowadays are pretty easy to get. Some of them are still sitting on websites for retail and even selling under retail on StockX. And how am I brainwashed? If I can't get a sneaker on release day and it's too expensive on the resale market I just move on with my life and hope I get the next pair. That's why I don't need fakes. Nobody is entitled to every shoe they want. I think its just pathetic buying fakes and pretending you got the real thing. Buying fakes doesn't mean that you don't care about the brand but just means you wish you had the real deal. In the end is just wrong to support bootleggers and on top of all that it's illegal

He had to record this awhile before the price was even announce? Wow, that really makes me wonder how early he got this sneaker.
Also the midsoles are different. V2s feel like they have a slightly softer foam, but just in case that's just some placebo effect, you can definitely see it in the angle of the heel. It's a lot more steep on V2s.
@@Fadakar Finally someone else who notices this. It bothers me every time a reviewer says the V1 and V2 have the exact same midsole. Lol
@@Mr.ClimateChange bro back when only statics were out people would argue with me that my own shoes weren't made of primeknit when they didn't even own a pair. Everyone swore these were mesh for at least a year. I dunno what it is about the V2 but everyone always gets the details wrong lol

Seth, I go to you whenever I’m thinking of getting or at lest participating on any shoes that are hard to cop. Because I wanted to make sure that I’d be doing the right decision. You always amaze me with your energy and unbiased reviews on sneakers but this video made me feel something different. I don’t know if it’s because of the shoes, boredom, or lack of interest. The actual shoes look nothing alike but they are pretty much the same colors. Put some yellow laces in the Azareth and tell me they don't look like the waverunners
