If you are such a fan of Europe (I know I am for damn sure!), you should definitely check out his cover on "Sign of the times" from the "Out of this world" album, which originally came out in 1988. Crazy good performance! Tommy did an outstanding job on that one, as always of course, and the coolest thing ever? He used one of the actual guitars (not just a signature) of Kee Marcello (guitarist for Europe at the time) to play the guitar solo in this cover! I mean how f@#$ing awesome is that! You really have to react to this cover! You will not be disappointed! Yeah, Tommy is beyond amazing. For me personally he is an exceptional guitar player and one of the best (If not the absolute best) power metal singers of his generation! Undoubtedly the grand master of covers!😉🤟🤘
Hej Micha. Som vanligt tar Tommy en gammal hitlåt och blåser nytt liv i dem på något magiskt sätt. Tycker det var perfekt med fullt ös medvetlös tempo i låten, Tommy gjorde förresten en Europe låt för några veckor sedan. Så skönt att kunna skriva på svenska här då jag vet du talar det utmärkt.

Looking back thru your video uploads, I don't see any Visions of Atlantis. They are like Nightwish, but oceanic themed. Their latest album "Piratss (2022) has seen the band go full Symphonic Pirate Metal. And it's kick ass. The imagery, and lyrical content tell some wonderful stories. And a great song to start off with is the first track of this album called "Pirates Will Return" (live) (official video). They have a full orchestra backing them, and the mood is awesome. Check them out. I think you'll like it, given that you seem to be a fan of Floor Jansen.
