Interesting information 😊 i think the writer need much help from editors who can do the stuff professionally and without emotions:)
Absolutely 😊
The information on this video is pure gold, even for non writers like me it ended up being really interesting!
You're really on a roll these past few weeks! Super helpful roundup at the end of where to look for editing resources.
A couple of things I'd say about working with editors -- 1) Don't be afraid to ask them about why they've made certain suggestions. Really understanding the why behind an edit helps you grow as a writer. (Sometimes you'll discover that they're just misinterpreting something too.) 2) Not all editors are a good fit for your work so if you find an editor you work well with, try to maintain and cultivate that relationship.
Yes fantastic points! I found that my editor would usually leave a comment when they weren't sure whether they understood something right, which was very helpful. And i'm definitely planning on hiring the copy editor i worked with again, because they did a great job and I learned a lot from their edits 😊
I know the cost and process may vary from country to country but the information and insights you have shared here are very much appreciated. Keep it up! Cheers, Iasmina! 😍🤓🥰
