    Claudetta!!! I cannot tell you how grateful I am of this video! I have successfully completed a beautiful cowl. I found crochet sooooo hard to get a grip on but this video has allowed me to complete a project from start to finish. I found once I got the hang of it the motion of the hook and yarn was so therapeutic to do! So grateful! So grateful! So grateful!

      Claudetta Crochet - thank you for the reply. I just tried to follow your link but it come back with a note that there is not such website. I found a woolwarehouse.co.uk and they do deliver worldwide, and they had the yarn just not in the color you used. I’m still happy because they had the color you used in a previous tutorial of a hat!

    • @redcross6963
      @redcross6963 Před 2 lety

      You can add as many or as little as you'd like. Doesn't matter if it's an even or odd number just until you think it's the right height for you. 🤗

    On the second round we don't join with slip stitch... But we skip the first chain to start the round... I hope this isn't a silly question ~do we skip the first chain every round?

    While it's very kind and generous of you to demonstrate this beginner project, to point out that scissors will be needed (shocking!) and to disclose that this video is a "paid promotion".
    With all that, why not say how much yarn is required or give approximate dimensions? I see in the comments that you've been asked but left no reply.
    Does the yarn company not want you to disclose this in or is it more of a "I know something you don't know"?

    This pattern is lovely but you really need to work on your explanation as to how to start the second round. Treat me like an idiot please, I really wanted to make this as it seemed so beautifully simple but I just kept twisting the round and I didn’t want a twisted cowl. No matter how often or how closely I watched your demonstration or tried to follow your explanation of how to begin the second round it simply isn’t clear enough. I’m giving up now I’m afraid, I feel stupid because other people seem to be able to follow you but I’m afraid there’s something missing in the explanation for me, some assumption of knowledge on the part of the teacher, knowledge that I just don’t have. Your work is beautiful, I’m just sad I’m too daft to be able to recreate it without clearer instruction!
