Amy often uses a damp/wet,squeezed well, natural sea sponge as the negative tool rather than hand - alternative .

I've never used Amy Howard crack medium........I have used many others. They all tell you not to go back a forth with the brush when applying the second paint coat. Is Amy's medium different? Are the directions the same when using Chaulk style paint? I wish you would have explained why you were trying to "move the crackles"........It was impossible to really see what you were doing.
