- In this video, we're testing out the newly reformulated Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation! Lancome recently released their new formula along with new shades that are supposed to eliminate a grey cast on the skin.
I did a first impression/demo as well as a three day wear test to share with you my thoughts as I wore this foundation more and more. Overall, I can say it's 10x BETTER than the original formula, as the original one didn't sit well on my combination normal/oily skin.

MY SHADES:
Typically I'm in the medium shade range with neutral undertones. These are the shades I've used in the past, but they may vary since I do get very tan in the summer and lose a lot of color in the colder months. It just depends on when I've tried them!

I love this foundation. Very light and covers very well. I have combo skin, but for some reason, I found this formula very drying for my skin... so I tried the care and glow foundation. It's better. My skin looks more hydrated and formula is great. Gave me a natural glow not overwhelming glowy/oily looking for a combo skin/oily skin. 😀

Hi, I just started using this foundation about 2/3 months ago and I love it. I think the color match I got at ulta is a bit yellow on my skin so I might try and go get it exchanged if it’s possible still. I wore it to a festival in Chicago where it rained one day and it got hot and humid the next day and it did not budge, it stayed on with full coverage and no breakage. I do have oily skin around my T-zone and this was super mattifying , I used translucent powder to set and one size setting spray. I do agree on the price so it’s not something I would wear everyday. Any suggesting on skin care before foundation ? I struggle with some creasing around my lips and under eyes.

Looks like the foundation made you look very dewy. I have oily skin I think it might make me look more oily.
Yes it’s definitely not a flat matte! I still would recommend setting with powder for that reason

Hard to decide bc I love that one! But I think this one will hold up during the hot summer months a lot better than the other one!

I enjoyed watching, but 5 hours is too short a wear test. That said, the foundation looks great on you.
Hey! Totally get it. For me, i only wear foundation maybe 5-10 hours if I can help it 😅 I should’ve clarified but the third day I actually kept it on the rest of the day and wore it for a total of 12 hours and I think it held up very well! Only a little more oil production but same amount of fading as the other days! 😊
