I took my mom(non-Kpop fan) to see BTS in MetLife and she cried. And said it was the best concert she’s ever been to. I cry every time I see BTS so I understand his tears.
I've noticed that anyone who has never heard of/never cared for BTS but was actually open-minded about listening to them end up becoming a fan. That's the magic of Bangtan 💜

Army mom here. Pulled my 3 kids out of school and flew the whole family out to Chicago for the bts concert. Flew in my dad from Nebraska too. He thought it was strange that people were singing along in korean. We had such a blast

My mom is an Army too and my dad is more of an occasional fan, but she would never fly me somewhere to see a concert! What’s good is that we live in NY so we always drive to concerts. And the concerts are always on a weekend so I don’t have to miss school. But for a TXT concert I left school half a day and for a Bts concert I skipped school the next day to recover from it 😅 (I got sick there and I didn’t go to bed until 1am)

I can totally relate to how Randall feels about BTS. I have been to a few bts concert and I can surely say that you can’t help but feel emotional especially as an Asian American. It’s like you never expect to see thousands of people of all races and ages united as one ☝🏼 singing in one language (korean) and dancing together. It’s like a whole new world. Please, if you STILL don’t understand the hype and love bts is getting, I recommend going to their concert only then you will understand.
Their concert is really an experience unlike any other ^^
I was wondering how to get their concert ticket that you have been to a few. It was so hard so I haven’t been to any as much as I want to.
They should also actually listen to the music BTS makes, read lyrics, and find out what they stand for before making hasty judgments.

The more I learn about BTS, the more that I fall in love with them. Individually gifted, powerful as a unit! I wasn't so into Kpop back then, but BTS changed me. I love how these boys stays humble despite becoming one of the biggest acts in the world. I'm a forever fan!
I took my dad to a BTS concert and he wasn’t a huge fan going into it, but at the end of the night his exact words were, “I’ve never been to a concert like this. The connection between the fans and them is so amazing.” And ever since then, he is a huge fan and is Hobi biased❤️

i first watched fresh off the boat in 2015 and was already hyped for the show before it was released (when the trailer came out i was like wow!need to watch this bcs its relatable) and i started stanbing bts this year after boy with luv and im happy to see he's a big fan of bts too

In western countries like the US, Canada, Australia, etc, conventional standards of masculinity keep men from enjoying things like pop music (especially if the group is made up of young Asian men who don't conform to western standards themselves). This narrow view of masculinity is very pervasive and ingrained in men of all ages and ethnicities in the west, so for a grown man to like a band like BTS, it takes a lot of courage.
